The Item Processing clause defines the procedures and responsibilities related to handling, sorting, and managing items—such as checks, documents, or goods—within a transaction or operational workflow. It typically outlines how items are received, processed, and tracked, and may specify timelines, error correction protocols, and the roles of involved parties. By establishing clear guidelines for item handling, this clause helps ensure accuracy, accountability, and efficiency, reducing the risk of disputes or operational errors.
Item Processing. At our sole discretion, we may process the Images you send to us electronically through other banks, or we may create Image Replacement Documents that will be processed through traditional check processing methods. If you send us Images that are incomplete, that fail to satisfy our image quality requirements, or otherwise do not allow us to meet the requirements of Check 21 or any image exchange agreement that would cover our further electronic transmission of Images that you send us, or we are otherwise unable to process Images that you send us, we may charge the Images back to your account. You agree to be bound by any clearinghouse agreements, operating circulars, and image exchange agreements to which we are a party.
Item Processing. The image of an Item transmitted to Extraco using the Service must be legible. The image quality of the Items must comply with the requirements established from time to time by ANSI, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board, or any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association. If the electronic files and/or images transmitted to us with respect to any Item do not comply with our processor's requirements for content and/or format, we may, in our sole discretion:
a. Further transmit the Item and data in the form received from you;
b. Repair or attempt to repair the Item or data and then further transmit it; Process the Item as photocopies in lieu of originals; or
c. Return the data and Item to you unprocessed and charge back your account.
Item Processing. If the electronic files and/or images transmitted to us with respect to any Item do not comply with our or our processor's requirements for content and/or format, we may, in our sole discretion:
1. further transmit the Item and data in the form received from you;
2. repair or attempt to repair the Item or data and then further transmit it;

4. return the data and Item to you unprocessed and charge back your account.

Item Processing. InterCept agrees to furnish to Customer and Customer --------------- agrees to obtain from InterCept the Processing Services for the term set forth herein. Customer may obtain additional products and services offered by InterCept at InterCept's then current prices for such services. In the performance of Item Processing Services, InterCept accepts no liability for the payment of fraudulent, postdated, or otherwise improper documents.

We are not responsible for Electronic Items:
a. that were previously processed or that we do not receive b.that may fail during transmission

The Electronic Item or any substitute check, as defined by federal law, will become the legal representation of the Item for all purposes, including return items processing. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to review each Electronic Item and have the right to reject any Electronic Item that we in our sole discretion determine to be ineligible for the Service. We are not responsible for Electronic Items:
a. that were previously processed or that we do not receive b. that may fail during transmission
c. that are illegible or contains MICR data that is not machine-readable d. that are drawn on banks located outside the United States
Item Processing. At our sole discretion, we may process the Images you send to us electronically through other financial institutions, or we may create Image Replacement Documents that will be processed through traditional check processing methods. If you send us Images that are incomplete, that fail to satisfy our image quality requirements, or otherwise do not allow us to meet the requirements of Check 21 or any image exchange agreement that would cover our further electronic transmission of Images that you send us, or we are otherwise unable to process Images that you send us, we may charge the Images back to your account. You agree to be bound by any clearinghouse agreements, operating circulars, and image exchange agreements to which we are a party. We reserve the right to reject any Image or Item transmitted through the Service, at our discretion, without liability to you. We are not responsible for Images we do not receive or for Images that are dropped during transmission. An Image of an Item shall be deemed received only when you receive a confirmation from us that we have received the Image and accepted your deposit. Our sending a confirmation to you does not mean the transmission was error free or complete. If an Image you transmit through the Service is received and accepted before 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on a business day that we are open, we consider that day to be the day of your deposit. Otherwise, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day we are open. You agree, however, that items transmitted through the Service are not subject to the funds availability requirements set forth in the “Your Ability to Withdraw Funds” section of the Credit Union’s Terms and Conditions of Your Account or Regulation CC of the Federal Reserve Board. Nevertheless, we will generally make the first $200 of a day’s total deposits available by the first (1st) business day after the day of your deposit and the remainder available by the third (3rd) business day after the day of your deposit. We reserve the right to delay availability up to seven days from the date we receive payment for Items transmitted through the Service. If you are a new member, the following special rule may apply during the first thirty (30) days your account is open. All funds from deposits using this Service will be available on the sixth (6th) business day after the day of your deposit. Item Processing. Imaged items transmitted by you and received by us by 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on a normal business day will be credit to your account the same business day. Items received by us after 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on any business day will be credited to your account on the next successive business day.
