Language Training. A program of language training in those languages relevant to legal services work shall be provided at the introductory level and for intermediate and advanced conversational courses.

Language Training. It is recognized that some employees may have difficulty expressing themselves in written English. For this reason the Company will use a simple format for testing (e.g., multiple choice, true/false, etc.). This provision shall not apply to those employees hired on or after 24 July 1990.

Language Training. For the employee representative members of the CCSR needing language training in French or in English and who have difficulties in benefiting from this training, the corporate managerial team in charge of the follow-up on the CSR Agreement shall seek out an adapted solution. ▪ Working Languages All the participants shall be able to speak the language of the countries they represent. However, any report to be presented before the Committee shall, at least in its written form, be presented in English or in French. The annual review document provided for in Article 22 shall be translated in all the languages of the CCSR members.

Language Training. If NAV CANADA requires an employee to become proficient in the use of a second language, language training shall be paid for by NAV CANADA, and the employee shall not suffer loss of normal pay during such training.

Appropriate foreign language classes offered through the UAW Education Fund satisfy the Employer's obligation to provide language training. Employees shall be granted release time of up to 2 hours per week for a total of twelve (12) weeks per year for language training sessions occurring outside of regular work hours (i.e., not between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday). Such release time shall be taken within the same work week as it is accrued.

Language Training. Specialized foreign language training up to the requisite proficiency level, monitored by experts. Candidates will also receive exam preparation classes, mock exams, and proficiency evaluations.

Language Training. If the Company requires an employee to become proficient in a second language, language training shall be paid for by the Company, and the employee shall not suffer loss of normal pay during such training. The Company shall provide instructors (indeterminate and term instructors in excess of four (4) years at refresher training which shall include one (1) training opportunity every three (3) years at an appropriate facility to be determined by the Company. Before scheduling the training opportunity at the facility, the Company’s representative at and the local Union representative shall discuss the training plan. Time spent during training shall be considered as time worked. All reasonable costs for this program shall be paid by the Company in accordance with the CANADA Travel Guidelines. In the event that the Company closes both the administrative and teaching facilities at for all or a portion of the holiday season (December to January inclusively), and the Company does not assign an instructor appropriate alternative work, he or she shall not be required to take leave.

Language Training. (a) Subject to approval of the National Executive Committee, intensive language training will be provided to the President as needed.

Language Training. The provision of an accessible English Language Learning Program (if required according to assessments) shall be facilitated by the Company in compliance with the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) requirements. if necessary to enable the individual to attain the required English competency set by the permanent residency stream the individual is pursuing.
