Lead Apron Allowance. 30A.1 From the FFPPOOA 1 July 2020, an Employee who is required as part of their usual duties to wear a lead apron, is to be paid the Lead Apron Allowance in Appendix 2 for each shift or part thereof on which the lead apron is worn.
Lead Apron Allowance. 37.1 From the FFPPOA 13 May 2021, an Employee who is required as part of their usual duties to wear a lead apron, is to be paid the Lead Apron Allowance in Schedules 2C and 3C (Allowances) for each shift or part thereof on which the lead apron is worn. Classifications entitled to this allowance are: (a) Theatre Technicians (including Liver Transplant Technologists and Dual Qualified Technicians); and (b) Interpreters and Theatre Technician Managers.
Lead Apron Allowance. An Enrolled Nurse or AIN who is required to wear a lead apron is to be paid an allowance per hour or part thereof for each hour the requirement continues in accordance with the following table:
Lead Apron Allowance. Where an Employee is required to wear a lead apron in the performance of radiographic duties such Employee shall be paid an allowance as set out at Schedule 2 per hour or part thereof for such time spent wearing the lead apron. This allowance is subject to the approval of the Nurse Unit Manager.

Lead Apron Allowance. A Nurse / Midwife Caregiver required to wear a lead apron must be paid an allowance as set out in Item 23 of Schedule Two for each hour or part thereof that they are required to wear the apron.
Lead Apron Allowance. An employee required to wear a lead apron for more than four or more hours continuously (excluding breaks of up to 5 minutes) on any shift will be paid an allowance of $7.50 per shift that they are required to wear the apron.
