Leave to Hold Full Time Union Position Sample Clauses

The 'Leave to Hold Full Time Union Position' clause allows employees to take a leave of absence from their regular job duties in order to serve in a full-time role within their union. Typically, this provision outlines the process for requesting such leave, the duration permitted, and the terms for returning to the original position after the union role ends. By formalizing the ability for employees to participate in union leadership without risking their employment status, this clause supports union representation and ensures continuity for both the employee and employer.
