Maintenance Technicians hold a valid AME license or equivalent, or have sufficient knowledge and experience (minimum 3 years experience recommended);
Maintenance Technicians. Subject to the specific provisions of this Agreement, Maintenance employees shall be scheduled to work a five (5) day, Monday to Friday, forty (40) hour work week. The schedule shall be based on forty (40) hours per week, balanced over a two (2) week rotation. Hours per day can either be eight (8), nine (9) or ten (10), which will include a half (½) hour unpaid lunch.
Maintenance Technicians. The base salary is inclusive of from 125 worked hours of overtime up to a maximum 150 worked hours of overtime. Once a Maintenance Technician has reached 150 hours, time off in lieu will be taken on an hour for hour basis with the agreement of the Maintenance Planner. All time in lieu must be taken before the end of January the following year.
Maintenance Technicians. The Company agrees to establish a formally documented certification training process for the Maintenance Technicians. The Point Mugu Certification Program will be based on any current job requirements of the Maintenance Technicians positions and can change with the addition of new equipment. Operations Technicians: Must be certified under the Point Mugu Certification Program which is based on the current job requirements of the Operations positions. Program modules can change with the addition of new equipment. The program will be completed in accordance with the customer’s statement of work for consistent certification of Operations Technicians. This certification program is not optional and will commence by all Operations Generalist upon hire.

Maintenance Technicians. During 2007-2008 Collective Bargaining the parties discussed the rates of pay for employees in the maintenance tech classification. In recognition of these wages, the union confirms that in those instances when a Maintenance Technician requires assistance in troubleshooting and repairing the automation controls or the I.T. Systems, such assistance will be provided by the Engineering Lead person on each operating shift. Tool allowance of $400.00 per year per maintenance employee provided that receipts are provided to the Company for applicable tools replaced.
