Minimum Daily Pay Clause Samples
Minimum Daily Pay. (a) The Employer shall pay the employee a minimum of two (2) hours pay at his/her regular rate of pay upon reporting to work for a scheduled shift.
(b) Where the employee commences work, he/she shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at his/her regular rate of pay.
Minimum Daily Pay. (a) An employee reporting for work shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours if the employee does not commence work or, where the employee commences work, a minimum of four (4) hours.
(b) Notwithstanding 17.10 (a), the minimum daily pay for a high school student reporting for work as a Gym Marshal, Rink Marshal, Pool Marshal or an Aquatic Helper performing swim lessons, on a day when school is in session shall be two (2) hours.
Minimum Daily Pay. An employee who reports for work and who commences work shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at their regular straight time rate. An employee who reports for work but is not required to commence work shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at their regular straight time rate.

(c) Employees required to attend mandatory staff meetings during off-duty hours shall be paid at straight-time for the duration of the meeting or a minimum of two hours, whichever is greater. If the staff meeting abuts with the employee's shift, then straight-time rates will be paid for the duration of the meeting.
Minimum Daily Pay. Employees reporting for work at the call of the College shall be entitled to their regular wage for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of four (4) hours pay for each call out.
Minimum Daily Pay. (a) Employees reporting for work at the call of the University shall be entitled to their regular wage for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of four (4) hours pay for each call out subject to (b) below.
(b) Temporary Part-Time employees in the Children’s Centre, Centre for Sport & Wellness, Theatre, or Events and Ceremonies reporting for work at the call of the University shall be entitled to their regular wage for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of two (2) hours pay for each call out.

An employee, reporting for work at the call of the College, shall be entitled to their regular wage for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of four (4) hours' pay, for each call-out, unless the employee is unfit to perform their duties or has failed to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations of the Workers' Compensation Board. In the event work is suspended because of inclement weather or other reason completely beyond the control of the College, the employee shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours' pay at their regular wage. Where the employee is a Student Aide reporting for work at the call of the College on a day when the student has scheduled instructional activity, the minimum pay for each call out shall be two (2) hours' pay.
Minimum Daily Pay. When a regular employee is called in and reports for work, the employee shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours at the appropriate rate of pay.
Minimum Daily Pay. An employee who reports for work as scheduled in the usual manner who is prevented from working his/her full scheduled shift due to a cause not within his/her control, such as a flood or power outage, will be entitled to two (2) hours pay at his/her regular rate whether or not the employee starts work.
