No Pyramiding of Overtime. 1. All time worked by unit employees which has already been compensated shall not apply towards time worked for additional overtime compensation. There shall be no duplication or pyramiding in the computation of overtime and wages. Nothing in this agreement shall be construed to require the payment of overtime and/or other pay more than once for the same hours worked or compensated. If more than one of the provisions of this agreement is applicable to any time worked by a unit employee or otherwise compensated, the unit employee shall be paid for such time at the highest rate specified in any of such applicable provisions, but the unit employee shall not be entitled to additional pay for the same hours. No unit employee shall be compensated more than once for the same time or work period.
