OMITTED ITEMS Sample Clauses

The 'OMITTED ITEMS' clause defines how items, services, or work not explicitly listed in a contract are to be handled. Typically, this clause clarifies whether such omitted items are excluded from the contractor’s obligations or if they may be added later through a formal change order or amendment, often with an adjustment to the contract price or schedule. Its core function is to prevent disputes by clearly establishing the process for addressing items that were unintentionally or intentionally left out of the original agreement, ensuring both parties understand their responsibilities and the scope of work.
