Orientation Pay Sample Clauses

The Orientation Pay clause defines the compensation provided to employees for attending mandatory orientation sessions prior to starting their regular job duties. Typically, this clause specifies the rate of pay, whether it is at the standard hourly wage or a different rate, and clarifies if orientation time counts toward total hours worked for overtime calculations. Its core function is to ensure employees are fairly compensated for time spent in orientation, thereby promoting transparency and compliance with labor laws.
