Other Applicants. Where the application of clause 13.5 does not result in a vacancy being filled and where the applicants ranked highest to fill a vacancy in the bargaining unit are qualified and are of relatively equal merit (as determined by the application of the criteria specified in clause 13.1), preference in filling that vacancy shall be given in the following order:
Other Applicants. When a vacancy occurs for a continuing position it shall be posted as soon as it becomes known. The assignment within the position in September may not be identical to the assignment in the posted position.
Other Applicants. Where the application of clause 15.1 (d) (i) does not result in a vacancy being filled and where the applicants ranked highest to fill a vacancy in the bargaining unit are qualified and are of relatively equal merit (as determined by the application of the criteria specified in clause 15.1 (a)), preference in filling that vacancy shall be given in the following order:
(1) to Employees with regular status;
(2) to Employees with probationary status;
(3) to Employees with term status;
(4) to members of diverse groups identified in clause 14.1 (b)
(5) to other persons employed by the College;
(6) to other qualified persons.
Other Applicants. The Company may promote a crewmember (who is a Licensed Deck Officer) sailing in an unlicensed position, provided said promoted crewmember must make application to the Union within thirty (30) days. A Licensed Deck Officer, upon completion of one-hundred-twenty (120) days aboard ship will become a regular rotating Licensed Deck Officer, unless the position is designated as relief.
Other Applicants. In the event that any Employee is denied an interview for any continuing position, the College agrees to provide, upon request, an explanation of the reasons the applicant was unsuccessful.

Other Applicants. The order and preference may be changed under special circumstances by the University Equal Opportunity Officer in accordance with affirmative action policies of the Board of Regents.

Other Applicants. Unless there is mutual agreement between the successful applicant and the Board to fill the position earlier, the successful applicant to a posted continuing position shall assume the position at the beginning of the next school year. If the successful applicant does not fill the vacancy immediately, the Board shall fill the vacancy by temporary appointment.
