Common use of Overtime Pay Calculation Clause in Contracts

Overtime Pay Calculation. (A) Overtime at the rate of time and one-half (1.5) shall be paid on the following basis: (1) for the first two (2) hours in excess of regular scheduled hours in a day. (B) Overtime at the rate of double (2) time shall be paid on the following basis: (1) for the third (3rd) hour and time thereafter in excess of regular scheduled hours in a day (2) for all hours worked on an employee’s scheduled day off (C) Overtime at the rate of time and one-half (1.5) times the appropriate holiday rate shall be paid on the following basis: (1) for all hours worked in excess of regular scheduled hours on a paid holiday (2) for all hours worked in excess regular scheduled hours on a day which had originally been scheduled as a paid holiday but was changed by the Employer with less than ten (10) calendar days notice.

Overtime Pay Calculation. Overtime shall not be claimed or received for less than fifteen (15) minutes. If overtime amounts to fifteen (15) minutes, or more, it shall be paid for the total period. A) Overtime at the rate of time and one-half (1.5) shall be paid on the following basis: (1i) for the first two four (24) hours in excess of regular scheduled eight (8) hours in a day.day as defined by Article (24.01 Hours of Work; B) Overtime at the rate of double (2) time shall be paid on the following basis: (1i) for the third (3rd) hour and time thereafter all hours in excess of regular scheduled hours those worked in a day (2A)(i) above; ii) for all hours worked on an a regular full-time employee’s 's scheduled day offoff and for part- time employees for all hours worked on additional shifts to their regular schedule resulting in the employee working in excess of six (6) consecutive shifts. (C) Overtime at the rate of time one and one-half (1.5) times the appropriate holiday rate shall be paid on the following basis: (1) basis for all overtime hours worked in excess of regular scheduled hours on a paid holiday (2) for all hours worked in excess regular scheduled hours on a day which had originally been scheduled as a calendar paid holiday but was changed by if the Employer with less than ten employee has worked fifteen (1015) calendar days noticeof the past thirty (30) days. D) Overtime shall be compensated in cash.
