Overtime Worked. Where the Employer requires a Nurse to work overtime, the following shall apply: (a) All time authorized by the Employer and worked after the scheduled eight (8) hours per day or a period of eighty (80) hours in two weeks shall be considered overtime and shall be compensated at the rate of one and one half (1.5 x) time the Nurse’s regular hourly rate times the number of overtime hours worked. (b) A Nurse who works more than four (4) continuous hours of overtime shall receive double time (2x) for all such overtime in excess of four(4) hours. Overtime at the beginning and end of a scheduled shift, without a break, shall be deemed to have been continuous.
