Part-time Scheduling. (a) A Regular Part-time employee’s commitment to regular work shall be in accordance with his/her Full-time Equivalency (FTE). A Regular Part- time Employee shall be scheduled up to her/his commitment in order of seniority in accordance with the master schedule. Thereafter remaining tours will then be offered by seniority and availability to regular part-time nurses and then casual nurses. Changes to the master schedule will be done through a committee of nurses and may include the Labour Relations Officer. (b) Nurses who wish to be considered for additional tours for the next scheduled period must indicate their availability two (2) weeks prior to the beginning of the schedules. (c) A tour will be deemed to be offered whenever a call is placed and deemed to be an opportunity to work and counted towards the commitment of the employee, if refused by the employee (d) Nothing above shall be considered a guarantee of hours.
