Payment for Time Worked. An employee who works on any holiday provided for in this clause shall for all time worked on that day be paid at the rate of double time and a half.
Payment for Time Worked on a Public Holiday 7.5.2(a) Payment for Time Worked by Continuous Shift Workers on a Public Holiday (i) Refer to 6.2.4(a) to determine the pay entitlements of continuous shift workers working on rostered shifts which fall on a public holiday. (ii) Continuous shift workers required to work overtime on a public holiday shall be paid at double time. Refer to 6.4.10 and 6.4.11 to determine the rest break and meal allowance entitlements of continuous shift workers who work overtime on a public holiday. Compensation is fixed on an annual, monthly, biweekly and hourly basis per the salary schedules attached to this Agreement, as Appendix B, and shall be paid biweekly in accordance with State Law or other applicable provision. There shall be no compensation for time not worked unless such time off is authorized time off with pay.
Payment for Time Worked. DEFINITION OF HOURLY RATE FOR COMPUTING WAGE PAYMENTS 19.01 An employee’s hourly rate shall be determined by dividing 1/5 of the sum of the employee’s basic weekly wage rate and his night tour differential, if any, and his Saturday differential, if any, by the number of hours of work in his regular tour. REGULAR TOUR 19.02 All work performed during the hours of an employee’s regular tour on any scheduled working day shall be paid for at the hourly rate except as provided in Section 19.06.

Payment for Time Worked. 45.2.1 For all time worked on a public holiday the Employee shall be paid double time and a half. For work on Christmas Day or Good Friday the Employee shall be paid triple time. 45.2.2 Payment shall be at the rates prescribed by Clause 32, Changes in Rates and Allowances of this Agreement for the occupation in which the Employee is employed. In addition to the above payment, in the case of Employees on over-Agreement payments, piece or bonus work or any other system of payment by results, the average on a daily basis of their over-Agreement payments, piece or bonus work earnings during ordinary hours as calculated and utilised for annual leave pay purposes for the immediately preceding period of annual leave. In the case of an Employee who has not previously taken annual leave whilst in the service of the Employer, the Employee will receive the average of the over- Agreement payments, piece or bonus work earnings during ordinary hours over a period of not less than three months ending four weeks prior to the public holiday. 45.2.3 Where an Employee is not employed during the whole of the three months, the average shall be calculated on the period of employment falling within the said three months.
Payment for Time Worked. (a) If an Employee is absent from work on a day or part day that is a public holiday, the Employer must pay the Employee (other than a casual Employee) the base rate of pay for the Employee’s ordinary hours of work on that day or part-day. The base rate of pay to be paid excludes incentive-based payments and bonuses, loadings, monetary allowances, overtime or penalty rates, or any other separately identifiable amounts. (b) Subject to the definition of a holiday, an Employee who works on a recognized holiday shall for all time worked on that day be paid at the rate of double time and half. (c) However, an Employee is not entitled to payment if they do not have ordinary hours of work on the public holiday. (d) An Employee who is recalled to work overtime on a public holiday will be paid for a minimum of 2 hours’ work at the appropriate overtime rate.
