Percent Design. At 60% design, City will notify Developer in writing within eight weeks after receipt of Design Documents at each required stage of design, of approval, or of request for modifications. If modifications are requested, Developer shall modify and resubmit Design Documents for City approval.
Percent Design. The CONSULTANT will complete the following activities resulting in the submission and review of a 60-percent design submittal: • Prepare five copies of 60-percent design drawings and specifications: Based upon the concepts presented in the Basis of Design Report (30-percent) submittal, comments received from the OWNER’s staff, and the completion of the 30-percent design review meeting, CONSULTANT will prepare the 60-percent design submittal. • The contract drawings will include site plans and outside piping layout, mechanical plans and sections, operational and control descriptions of major equipment and process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and subsurface soil investigation report. The estimated fee to complete a subsurface soil investigation is included in the project budget. The specifications will include Division 1 and all major equipment specifications. • Contact Sunshine State One Call of Florida (SSOCF) to identify utility companies who operate inside the project area and request markup of their existing underground utilities. • Attend a 60-percent design review meeting to discuss the contents and concepts of the submittal and receive the OWNER’s comments. Prepare meeting minutes for distribution to all meeting attendees.
Percent Design. The CONSULTANT will complete the following activities resulting in the submission and review of a 90-percent design submittal: • Prepare five copies of the 90-percent design drawings and specifications: Based upon comments received from the OWNER’s staff on the 60-percent design review, CONSULTANT will prepare the 90-percent design submittal. • Prepare an updated EPCC to be submitted with the 90-percent design submittal. In preparing the opinion of probable construction cost, we will rely on equipment supplier price quotes, Means construction cost data, and recent bid tabulations for similar work and adjusted for inflation. • Prepare an updated project schedule for inclusion with the 90-percent design submittal. • Attend a 90-percent design review meeting to discuss the contents and concepts of the submittal and to receive the OWNER’s comments. Prepare meeting minutes for distribution to all meeting attendees.
Percent Design. 1. Following completion of the PDR, Consultant shall quickly proceed with development of the 60 percent design documents. 60 percent design services include:
a. Further development of design documents and select specification; drawings anticipated for inclusion in the submittal have been identified in the drawing list (see Section 4.0 - Drawing List.)
b. Internal quality control review and comment incorporation.
c. Updates to the design schedule.
2. An overview of the 60 percent documents (via 3D model review), and a discussion of preliminary City comments shall be presented at the 60 percent Design Review Workshop.
3. City comment review log shall be maintained to document all City review comments and associated design team responses/actions to address the comments.
Percent Design. The Consultant will prepare 60 percent plans and specifications to serve as the bid package for use by the County in soliciting competitive bids for construction of the project. The 60 percent design will incorporate comments received on the 30 percent design and will also include detailed design of civil (paving, grading, drainage), structural, electrical, instrumentation (based on information provided by others), demolition, tree relocations and site restoration components (if needed). Environmental services related to surface water impacts, gopher tortoise relocation, etc. are not included in this scope of services. These services can be provided, if needed, under separate authorization or amendment to this Work Order. Two full size sets of plans and two hardcopy sets of draft technical specifications will be provided, along with an electronic copy (PDF format) for the County’s review. A design review meeting will be conducted with SWDD staff to discuss comments on the 60 percent design documents. Comments received will be documented and incorporated as appropriate for use in preparing the 90 percent design documents.
Percent Design. Prepare 50 percent design level drawings including: general sheets, demolition plans, major demolition sections, civil plan views, and major civil sections. Budget associated with common drawings for the combined project (including replacement of the chlorine contact channel isolation valve at the WPCF) will be split evenly between the two scopes of services.
Percent Design. CONSULTANT shall: Prepare drawings, construction cost estimates, an updated permit matrix and schedule for the PROJECT to reflect a 70 percent level of completion for a design review meeting with CNLV staff. Prepare and furnish for the design review meeting three (3) sets of 24" x 36" Progress Drawings, and three (3) copies of the construction cost estimate, utility permit matrix, and PROJECT schedule. Provide progress drawings and documents to the City one week before the design review meeting.
Percent Design. Address 50 Percent Design Submittal City review comments. Prepare and submit a Record of Comment to clearly address the resolution to each City review comment. Budget associated with addressing comments on the 50% submittal for the combined project (including replacement of the chlorine contact channel isolation valve at the WPCF) will be split evenly between the two scopes of services.
Percent Design. NewFields will conduct the following activities under this task to advance the selected alternative to a 90 percent design: ▪ Address 60 percent design deliverable comments from the City; ▪ Address and incorporate City comments from the 90 percent design workshop (see Task 6); ▪ Add specificity to the design deliverables (drawings, project manual, cost estimate, and design report) as needed to fully communicate the design; and ▪ Coordinate with permitting agencies, prepare, and submit permit applications. ▪ N/A (See Task 6) ▪ 90% Design Drawings ▪ 90% Design Report ▪ 90% Project Manual ▪ 90% Capital Cost Estimate ▪ Task 3 deliverables will be the basis for developing Task 4 deliverables. ▪ Permit assistance will include coordination with agencies and preparation of applications for the following permits on behalf of the Project: o Montana Conservation District 310 Permit o Montana Fish and Wildlife 124 permit o US Army Corps of Engineers 404 permit (depending on approved design) o Floodplain Permit ▪ The Project will result in a “no-rise” through the Federal Emergency Management Area (FEMA) Special Flood Hazard Area (i.e., FEMA Floodplain) associated with ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Creek. ▪ Hydrologic analysis and development of a hydraulic model will not be required to document a no- rise and obtain a floodplain permit for the Project; rather, the City’s Floodplain Administrator will allow an earthwork balance within the currently mapped regulatory floodplain to document a no- rise. ▪ A FEMA Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) and Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) will not be required and are not included in this scope of services. ▪ All permit fees will be paid by the City of Missoula. ▪ A 2D rendering of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ is not included in the 90 percent design because the renderings will primarily be used to help visualize the proposed design and facilitate input during the 60% design phase.
