Power Test Clause Samples

Power Test. Each year in May (or as otherwise agreed), a power test will be scheduled. The power test will be administered by the Sheriff or his designee. All employees may elect to take the power test (which will be identical to the power test utilized by the State Training Board for new recruits). Each employee will be allowed one attempt annually to pass the power test. Any employee who elects to take the power test and passes shall receive $150.00. If an employee attempts the test and fails, he/she will not receive the $150.00, but will not be penalized or disciplined for failing. Employees taking the annual power test shall not be eligible for any overtime pay for taking the test.
Power Test. The Power test shall be given two times per year and any officer who successfully completes the Power Test shall receive eighteen (18) hours of pay per test. Any officer who unsuccessfully completes the Power Test shall receive three (3) hours of pay per test.
Power Test. It is mutually agreed that the results of the P.O.W.E.R. test for employees hired after July 1, 2002 and that the results of an annual fitness assessment (as determined by the College) prior to July 1, 2002 would be used in the annual performance appraisal as an evaluative measure of physical conditioning and ability to perform the Police Department function. If such employee does not pass the P.O.W.E.R. test or the annual fitness assessment, he/she shall not be terminated from employment solely for failure to pass such test. It is also mutually agreed that the College will provide appropriate training prior to testing for all of the required annual proficiencies.
Power Test. The Power Test shall be offered on a voluntary basis twice per year (April and September). Any officer who successfully completes the Power Test shall receive twelve (12) hours of compensatory time per test.

Power Test. The current Illinois State Police Standard Power Test shall be offered to all employees at least one time in each twelve (12) month period. The four (4) parts to this test are, sit- ups, bench press, bend and reach, and one and one half (1-½) mile run or a recognized alternative aerobic test. The employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time for a passing score in all the events. The total maximum time given shall be twelve (12) hours, four hours for test taking and eight hours for passing the Power Test. No compensation shall be given for the time used to take these tests.

  • Meter Testing Company shall provide at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice to Seller prior to any test it may perform on the revenue meters or metering equipment. Seller shall have the right to have a representative present during each such test. Seller may request, and Company shall perform, if requested, tests in addition to the every fifth-year test and Seller shall pay the cost of such tests. Company may, in its sole discretion, perform tests in addition to the fifth year test and Company shall pay the cost of such tests. If any of the revenue meters or metering equipment is found to be inaccurate at any time, as determined by testing in accordance with this Section 10.2 (Meter Testing), Company shall promptly cause such equipment to be made accurate, and the period of inaccuracy, as well as an estimate for correct meter readings, shall be determined in accordance with Section 10.3 (Corrections).

  • Power Factor Design Criteria (Reactive Power A wind generating plant shall maintain a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, measured at the Point of Interconnection as defined in this LGIA, if the ISO’s System Reliability Impact Study shows that such a requirement is necessary to ensure safety or reliability. The power factor range standards can be met using, for example without limitation, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors if agreed to by the Connecting Transmission Owner for the Transmission District to which the wind generating plant will be interconnected, or a combination of the two. The Developer shall not disable power factor equipment while the wind plant is in operation. Wind plants shall also be able to provide sufficient dynamic voltage support in lieu of the power system stabilizer and automatic voltage regulation at the generator excitation system if the System Reliability Impact Study shows this to be required for system safety or reliability.

  • Power Factor Design Criteria Developer shall design the Large Generating Facility to maintain an effective power delivery at demonstrated maximum net capability at the Point of Interconnection at a power factor within the range established by the Connecting Transmission Owner on a comparable basis, until NYISO has established different requirements that apply to all generators in the New York Control Area on a comparable basis. The Developer shall design and maintain the plant auxiliary systems to operate safely throughout the entire real and reactive power design range. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall not unreasonably restrict or condition the reactive power production or absorption of the Large Generating Facility in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

  • Follow-up Testing An employee shall submit to unscheduled follow-up drug and/or alcohol testing if, within the previous 24-month period, the employee voluntarily disclosed drug or alcohol problems, entered into or completed a rehabilitation program for drug or alcohol abuse, failed or refused a preappointment drug test, or was disciplined for violating the provisions of this Agreement and Employer work rules. The Employer may require an employee who is subject to follow-up testing to submit to no more than six unscheduled drug or alcohol tests within any 12 month period.

  • Acceptance Testing At the time of installation of a LIS trunk group, and at no additional charge, acceptance tests will be performed to ensure that the service is operational and meets the applicable technical parameters.
