Prohibited items and activities. A. Firearms and Weapons: MWSU prohibits the unauthorized possession of ammunition, firearms, explosive weapons, and other weapons as defined in Missouri Revised Statutes, on University premises (including, without limitation, academic buildings, administration buildings, residence halls, parking lots and vehicles owned or leased by the University). Other weapons include, but are not limited to: airsoft guns, bb guns, bows, crossbows, knives with blades longer than three inches, swords and other types of arms classified as weapons in Missouri Revised Statutes. The use or display of any object or instrument in a dangerous and/or threatening manner is prohibited on University property or at University sanctioned activities.
B. Flammable Materials and Fireworks: Candles and incense are prohibited in the residence halls. Any open-flame burning is not permitted in resident rooms and common rooms due to possible fire hazards. Possessing, using, or participating in an activity involving fireworks, chemicals which are explosive and/or hazardous materials is also prohibited.
C. Other: The entire MWSU University campus is smoke-free. The possession and/or use of tobacco, vaping and e-cigarette devices is strictly prohibited. Other prohibited items include space heaters, AC units, waterbeds, halogen lamps, hot plates, suntan lamps, hoverboards, multiple socket plugs, any appliances with an open heating coil, air fryer, crockpot, and any other prohibited items as set forth in the MWSU Student Code of Conduct and Residential Life Policies.

In order to ensure the safety and comfort of Students and neighbours, the College prohibits certain items and activities and this section explains what would be a prohibited item during the Accommodation Contract. Any prohibited items found in the accommodation may be removed without warning and disposed of and the College shall not be liable for the cost of replacing such items.
7.4.1 The use and possession of inflammable substances, candles, ▇▇▇▇ sticks, gas canisters and ionisers are prohibited in College accommodation.
7.4.2 Students are not permitted to keep pets, portable washing machines or similar equipment, bicycles, e-scooters, motor bikes, any vehicles or vehicle parts in part of the Accommodation. Bicycles left in bicycle racks or on College property are left at the owner’s risk. Bicycles not removed at the end of the Accommodation Contract shall be removed and auctioned according to the College’s Greening Strategy.
7.4.3 The playing of ball games, badminton and frisbee etc is not allowed in College Accommodation grounds or gardens.
7.4.4 Amplified music or other sounds, including musical instruments, may not be played in College accommodation grounds or gardens, except with the use of earphones.
7.4.5 To ensure that all Accommodation remains an environment conducive to study, parties are not permitted. They will be dealt with using the formal disciplinary procedure as detailed in these Regulations.

In addition to and without limitation upon any of the restrictions contained herein, Tenant shall not allow any balloons, fireworks, candles and chafing dishes, to exist on the Premises. Additionally, Tenant shall not allow any painting to take place on the Premises.

The following items and activities are prohibited on the Club’s premises: illegal drugs, weapons of any kind, smoking (except in areas specifically indicated by signage for smoking, if any), gambling and other illegal gaming, and pets (other than service animals). No photography, filming, audio recording or other recording of any person on or about the Club’s premises is permitted without the prior consent of each such person.

Lessor does not consent to, authorize, condone, allow, grant permission for, acquiesce in, give license for, or otherwise agree with the use of any glow stick, confetti, fireworks, glitter, birdseed, rice, knives (except for customary catering needs), explosives, guns, firearms, ammunition, weapons, open flames, paints, solvents, chemicals, cigarettes, cigars, tobacco products, outside alcohol, drugs, or any other illegal, dangerous, banned or controlled substance, item, object, material or product, all of which individually and together (the “Prohibited Items”) are expressly banned and disallowed by Lessor from being brought upon, to, or otherwise present at the Event Venue. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ hereby acknowledges, consents to and agrees not to utilize, permit or allow any Prohibited Items to be brought upon or used on the Premises of the Event Venue during the Event Term. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ further acknowledges and understands that Lessor prohibits the Event Venue being used or utilized for any “rave” or “rave-type” events or activities, which Lessee expressly agrees to not engage in, host, or hold.

Under no circumstances should equipment including but not limited to toasters, kettles, microwaves, rice cookers, sandwich makers, grills or hotplates be used in bedrooms; such use or any indication thereof (eg equipment being plugged in). • Refrigerators are not permitted in bedrooms unless required for a specific medical condition. If you would like to request permission to have a refrigerator in your room on medical grounds you must contact the UCL Student Disability Services prior to your arrival. • Students should not use or store portable heat equipment. • Students should not use or store of fire arms (including legally held fire arms) or other weapons or dangerous substances such as explosives, knives (other than those used for food preparation) and fireworks. • Students should not use or store mood lighting such as fairy lights. • Students should not use or store humidifiers. • The use and storage of dart equipment. • The use and storage of plug-in air fresheners. • Students should not use or store items which have a potential for a naked flame such as candles, incense sticks/fragrance burners/▇▇▇▇ sticks, aromatherapy burners, hookah and shisha pipes, oil lamps and barbecue equipment. • Students should not use multi-way cube adaptors, non-fused electrical equipment, overloaded extension cords or any electrical equipment in disrepair. • The playing of ballgames is not permitted in any part of the accommodation. • The use and storage of illegal substances including legal highs. See the section on Drugs for more information. • Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vape pens is not permitted anywhere in the accommodation. See the section on Smoking for more information.
