Prohibited Uses Sample Clauses

The Prohibited Uses clause defines specific actions or purposes for which the subject matter of the agreement—such as a product, service, or intellectual property—may not be used. Typically, this clause lists activities like illegal conduct, reverse engineering, or commercial exploitation beyond the agreed scope, and may also restrict sharing with unauthorized third parties. Its core function is to protect the provider’s interests and ensure compliance by clearly outlining unacceptable behaviors, thereby reducing the risk of misuse or legal liability.
