An Employee promoted or transferred as described in Sub-section A. of this Section shall have the right to return to the Patrolman and Detective Patrolman Bargaining Unit and be placed on a job to which such seniority would entitle Employee as if the employment with the Township Police Department had remained unbroken; provided, however, if such Employee is discharged for cause, Employee shall not be eligible to return to the Patrolman and Detective Patrolman Bargaining Unit. C. An Employee promoted or transferred from a job classification in the Bargaining Unit to a higher supervisory position within said Bargaining Unit or outside said Bargaining Unit shall retain the seniority Employee had at the time of such promotion or transfer and shall accumulate seniority while Employee is in such higher supervisory position inside or outside Bargaining Unit for a period not to exceed eighteen (18) consecutive months from date of promotion or transfer. D. An Employee promoted or described in sub-section C. of this Section shall have the right to remain in or return to said Bargaining Unit and be placed on a job to which such seniority would entitle Employee as if the employment with the Township Police Department had remained unbroken; provided, however, if such Employee is discharged for cause, Employee shall not be eligible to return to said Bargaining Unit.
PROMOTION TO SUPERVISORY POSITION. If an Employee has been or shall be promoted to a supervisory position, he shall retain and continue to accumulate seniority rights in the seniority unit from which he was or shall be so promoted.
PROMOTION TO SUPERVISORY POSITION. Seniority shall be retained but shall not continue to accrue during the time an employee is promoted to a supervisory position with the District. An employee accepting promotion or an appointment will have the right to return to the bargaining unit only once. The return must be within two (2) years of the promotion or appointment.

In addition to that, and to any other planning committee in the Hospital of a more broadly representational make-up, there shall be immediately established a Staff Planning Committee for the bargaining unit, which shall meet during the term of this agreement every three months, unless otherwise mutually agreed by the parties. It shall be the function of the Staff Planning Committee to consider possible ways and means of avoiding or minimizing potential adverse effects upon employees in the bargaining unit, including: identifying and proposing possible alternatives to any action that the hospital may propose taking: identifying and seeking ways to address the retraining needs of employees: identifying vacant positions within the Hospital for which surplus members of the bargaining unit might qualify, or such positions which are currently filled but which are expected to become vacant within a twelve month period.

  • Promotion and Marketing For the purpose of promotion and marketing, the Borrower hereby authorizes and consents to the reproduction, disclosure and use by the Lenders and the Agent of its name, identifying logo and the Facilities, provided that the amount of Facilities shall not be disclosed. The Borrower acknowledges and agrees that the Lenders shall be entitled to determine, in their sole discretion, whether to use such information; that no compensation will be payable by the Lenders or the Agent in connection therewith; and that the Lenders and the Agent shall have no liability whatsoever to it or any of its employees, officers, directors, affiliates or shareholders in obtaining and using such information as contemplated herein.

  • Synchronization, Commissioning and Commercial Operation 5.1.1 The SPG shall give PGVCL at least thirty (30) days’ advanced preliminary written notice and at least fifteen (15) days’ advanced final written notice, of the date on which it intends to synchronize the Solar Power Project to the Grid System. 5.1.2 Subject to Article 5.1.1, the Power Project may be synchronized by the SPG to the Grid System when it meets all the connection conditions prescribed in applicable Grid Code then in effect and otherwise meets all other Indian legal requirements for synchronization to the Grid System. 5.1.3 The synchronization equipment and all necessary arrangements / equipment including RTU for scheduling of power generated from the Project and transmission of data to the concerned authority as per applicable regulation shall be installed by the SPG at its generation facility of the Power Project at its own cost. The SPG shall synchronize its system with the Grid System only after the approval of synchronization scheme is granted by the head of the concerned substation/ and checking/verification is made by the concerned authorities of the PGVCL. 5.1.4 The SPG shall immediately after each synchronization/tripping of generator, inform the sub-station of the Grid System to which the Power Project is electrically connected in accordance with applicable Grid Code. In addition, the SPG will inject in-firm power to grid from time to time to carry out operational/ functional test prior to commercial operation. For avoidance of doubt, it is clarified that Synchronization / Connectivity of the Project with the grid shall not to be considered as Commissioning of the Project. 5.1.5 The SPG shall commission the Project within nine (9) Months from the Date of execution of this PPA. Declaration of COD shall be certified by the commissioning committee. 5.1.6 The Parties agree that for the purpose of commencement of the supply of electricity by SPG to PGVCL, liquidated damages for delay etc., the Scheduled Commissioning Date as defined in this Agreement shall be the relevant date.

  • Local Professional Development Committee A. There shall be a Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) to oversee, review, and approve individual professional development plans (IPDP) for course work, continuing education units and/or other equivalent activities. 1. The LPDC shall be responsible to recommend for the Superintendent’s approval, all in-service activities and workshops offered in the district during the school year for staff professional development. 2. Recommendations for District Workshops and In-Service activities should be submitted to the LPDC for approval and recommendation no later than the last school day of the year prior to the year it will be implemented. 3. The LPDC chair shall review and approve all “Professional Growth Reimbursement Application” forms. B. The LPDC shall consist of three (3) teachers appointed by the Association President and two (2) members appointed by the Superintendent. One of the Superintendent's appointees will be a Principal employed by the district. C. Appointments shall be for two (2) years with half of the committee members being appointed every other year. 1. Appointments shall be made on or before May 1. 2. The Appointments shall be made by each party outlined above, notifying the other of those appointed. 3. In the event of a vacancy, the committee members shall be replaced in accordance with "B." above. 4. The Association shall name a fourth teacher member and the Superintendent shall name a third administrative member to serve as alternates and attend trainings. These two (2) people shall act as substitutes when a committee member is absent. D. This committee shall meet monthly. 1. The committee may also be convened by the request of two sitting members. 2. A quorum shall consist of five (5) members. When administrative licenses/certificates are reviewed, two (2) sitting teacher members will abstain and the decision will be decided by three (3) members. 3. If the committee determines it is needed, they will be provided two (2) professional release days to meet during regular school hours. Substitutes will be provided for the committee members on these release days. 4. Committee members shall be provided an additional annual stipend of $1,000 for meetings beyond the normal work day or year. This stipend shall be paid in two (2) semi-annual payments. Any member who fails to serve the full year shall have the above compensation prorated on a monthly basis for each month served. 5. Decisions of the LPDC will be made by consensus of the committee members present. 6. The committee minutes shall be prepared and maintained in compliance with the laws governing the operation of committees of public bodies.

  • Training and Professional Development 11.1 The Employer will develop and maintain an employee training and development plan and provide such plan to the Union upon request. Staff training is intended to provide an opportunity for classified staff employees for training sponsored by the University Training and Development and the UW Medical Centers Organizational Development and Training. Education/Professional Leave is intended to facilitate employee access to continuing education opportunities. Training and educational/professional leave may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing staff for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities within the framework of staff positions available at the University. 11.2 Any release time for training for employees accepted for such classes shall be in accordance with the Executive Order (currently No. 52) governing this matter. In the event that two or more employees request the same training period and supervision must limit the number of persons who may participate at one time due to work requirements, the selection will be made on a mutually agreeable basis within the department. 11.3 The training program is a proper subject for discussion by either departmental or University-wide Joint Union/Management Committees. 11.4 If the Employer requires an employee to receive training, reimbursement will be provided in accordance with the University travel rules. Employee attendance at Employer required training, either during or outside working hours, will be considered time worked and compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. 11.5 Employee attendance at training not required by the Employer and not covered by Executive Order 52, either on approved leave from or outside of working hours, will be voluntary and not considered time worked.

  • Central Committee on Violence in the Workplace The Central parties agree to create a Central Committee to review and develop best practice recommendations related to Violence in the Workplace. The Committee will take into consideration recent provincial reports related to violence in the workplace issues. The best practice recommendations will be distributed to the Joint Health and Safety Committees at each individual Home to be recommended for implementation.
