Qualifications of Applicants. Qualified applicants should demonstrate the project team’s overall technical expertise and experience in the solid waste management field, environmental engineering and possess a thorough knowledge of solid waste management rules and regulations. The engineering firm should demonstrate that the firm, specifically the assigned project managers and key personnel, has a thorough understanding of the regulatory requirements affecting the siting, design, permitting, and construction of solid waste management and disposal facilities (including solid waste and Title V permits) within the state of North Carolina and Buncombe County. In addition, the firm and the assigned project managers and key personnel should illustrate their understanding of the various design and construction standards applicable to solid waste management facilities in Western North Carolina. Such facilities may include but not be limited to: landfill cell construction, bioreactor landfills, stormwater management systems, solid waste transfer stations, solid waste recycling facilities, compost facilities, diversion programs/facilities, household hazardous waste collection and storage facilities, scale facilities, and other related facilities. Applicants must be experienced in Local, State of North Carolina, and Federal regulations that may affect any and all aspects of the program and have a sound working relationship with regulators in the respective field(s). Applicants must provide information to demonstrate the firm’s experience in the category(s) of services, including experience with other local government agencies. Include proof of applicable professional licenses required for the performance of proposed services.

  • Qualifications of Panelists All Panelists shall: (a) have expertise or experience in law, international trade, other matters covered by this Agreement, or the resolution of disputes arising under international trade agreements relevant to the subject matter of the dispute; (b) be chosen strictly on the basis of objectivity, impartiality, reliability, and sound judgment; (c) be independent of, and not be affiliated with or take instructions from, any Party; (d) not delegate their responsibilities to any other person; and (e) comply with the Model Rules of Procedure established in Annex 12 (Model Rules of Procedure).

  • Professional Qualifications It shall be a condition of continued professional employment that employees must apply for enrolment in their appropriate professional licensing body by the thirtieth day of continuous service.

  • STAFF QUALIFICATIONS a) CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all individuals employed, contracted, and/or otherwise hired by CONTRACTOR to provide classroom and/or individualized instruction or related services hold a license, certificate, permit, or other document equivalent to that which staff in a public school are required to hold in the service rendered consistent with Education Code section 56366.1(n)(1) and are qualified pursuant to Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations sections 3064 and 3065. b) Only those NPS/A located outside of California that employ staff that hold a current valid credential or license to render special education and related services as required by that state shall be eligible to be certified. NPA/NPS staff shall be required to hold credentials and licenses within the state where they are providing services regardless of where the agency is located. c) When CONTRACTOR is a nonpublic school, NPS, an appropriately qualified person shall serve as curricular and instructional leader, and be able to provide leadership, oversight and professional development. The administrator of the NPS holds or is in the process of obtaining one of the following: (A) An administrative credential granted by an accredited postsecondary educational institution and two years of experience with pupils with disabilities.

  • Qualifications All authorizations, approvals or permits, if any, of any governmental authority or regulatory body of the United States or of any state that are required in connection with the lawful issuance and sale of the Shares pursuant to this Agreement shall be obtained and effective as of the Closing.

  • Qualifications for Voting To be entitled to vote at any meeting of Holders a Person shall (a) be a Holder of one or more Notes on the record date pertaining to such meeting or (b) be a Person appointed by an instrument in writing as proxy by a Holder of one or more Notes on the record date pertaining to such meeting.
