The PHP shall track all measures listed below. The Department will review and update the quality measures annually and reflect any updates in the Technical Specifications. The Department will monitor other measures that are not included in the table below and may engage with PHPs around these performance measures. An asterisk (*) indicates that the measure is calculated by the Department.

Quarterly Quality Measures Report The NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS), Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services (DMH/DD/SAS) has been tracking the effectiveness of community systems through statewide performance indicators since 20061. These indicators provide a means for Executive Leadership, the NC public and General Assembly to monitor how the public service system is performing its responsibilities. Regular reporting of community progress also assists local and state managers in identifying areas of success and areas in need of attention. Problems caught early can be addressed more effectively.
