Quality Improvements Sample Clauses
Quality Improvements. Seller will start of maintain a JIT (just in time) program that includes the ability to measure and report on quality control and improvement processes. The JIT will include at least: - On time delivery, - Cost reductions, - Benchmarking, - Lead time reduction to meet benchmarks, - Statistical process controls (SPC) in critical process areas, and - Inventory reduction.
6.1 Seller will start and/or maintain a continuous improvement strategy for product quality, cost, delivery, inventory reduction, and service.
6.2 Seller will have in place goals to improve performance for: - QUALITY to reduce Buyer's rejections of products to less than ***** PPM by the end of the initial one-year term of this Agreement. Beginning in the second year of this Agreement, the goal will be less than ***** PPM. Beginning in the third year of this Agreement, the goal will be less than *** PPM. The benchmark performance will be no more than *** PPM line fallout rejections found during Seller's processing without Buyer's inspection being needed. - DELIVERY to be 100% on time (up to three days early and zero days later).
6.3 Time is of the essence for purposes of this Agreement.
6.5 Upon request by Buyer or Seller, Seller will participate, or be permitted to participate, in early supplier involvement with Buyer for Buyer's new products of the typo specified in this Agreement. Buyer will provide Seller with sufficient information and cooperation in connection therewith to permit Seller to qualify product for sale to Buyer.
6.6 Seller will meet with Buyer on a regular basis to review programs, performance measurements, and barriers to progress. Seller and Buyer will mutually agree on taking actions to correct problems and eliminate barriers.
Quality Improvements. In order to improve yields and the overall -------------------- quality of the Products produced by ENACT, upon request of LifeScan, ENACT agrees to actively participate in LifeScan Program for Controlling a Process and to the extent applicable to request its manufacturing subcontractor to participate therein. This program will be presented by LifeScan to ENACT's representative(s) following notification to ENACT that LifeScan would like ENACT to participate. It consists of the following ten steps:

Quality Improvements. 14 A. QI Program
15 1. CONTRACTOR shall participate with COUNTY in the planning, design, and execution of 16 the QI Program along with Beneficiaries and Family Members. CONTRACTOR shall participate in 17 quarterly QI meetings with COUNTY to develop and implement the QI Program.
18 2. CONTRACTOR shall operate a comprehensive QI Program designed to monitor all aspects 19 of the services provided by CONTRACTOR and the care provided by Network Providers. This program 20 shall be reviewed annually by CONTRACTOR’s Quality Improvement Committee.
21 3. CONTRACTOR shall implement the QI Program for its Network Providers and require 22 their participation and cooperation in the QI Program.
23 4. CONTRACTOR shall report results of QI activities to COUNTY on a quarterly basis. 24 These reports, together with recommendations for quality improvement or corrective actions plans, shall 25 be provided to CONTRACTOR’s Behavioral Health QIC for their action pursuant to the Reports 26 Paragraph of this Exhibit A to the Agreement.

Quality Improvements. The market for cacao has suffered from the effects of the global economic crisis, which has depressed purchasing volumes. Although Ecuador has been affected by the crisis, fine Ecuadorian aroma cacao is still in demand. There has, however, been some concern expressed from market representatives about the mixing of National “Arriba” and CCN51 varieties of Ecuadorian cacao products, in addition to the existence of residue of elements such as cadmium in exported products. As a result, PRODEL technical assistance efforts have targeted quality improvement efforts in order to satisfy market needs and address the concerns. The SKS anchor firm has held workshops with its producers to talk about the detection of cadmium in its cacao. SKS has taken the process a step further to provide solar flashlights to its producers in order to reduce the consumption of disposable batteries which contain cadmium.
Quality Improvements. E The Supplier shall strive to improve the quality of their operations and products and report any enhancements to the Authority.
Quality Improvements. If either Party identifies manufacturing or quality improvements that do not result in cost improvements pursuant to Section 4.5, such Party shall present the proposed projects, expected results and estimated costs thereof to the JMC for consideration. Orexigen shall have the right in its sole discretion to implement any manufacturing or quality improvement projects that are reasonably deemed by Orexigen to be necessary in order to meet its obligations under this Agreement. With respect to any other manufacturing or quality improvement project that is contemplated by a Party and that does not result in cost improvements pursuant to Section 4.5, if the JMC does not approve such other project, either Party may escalate the Dispute pursuant to Section 5.7 of the Collaboration Agreement; provided, however, that [***] shall have final decision-making authority or the right to solely decide a Dispute related to such other project pursuant to this Section 4.4. For any manufacturing or quality improvement project that is approved by the JMC (or pursuant to Section 5.7 of the Collaboration Agreement), or for any manufacturing or quality improvement project that is reasonably deemed by Orexigen to be necessary in order to meet its obligations under this Agreement, the costs of such manufacturing or quality improvement project shall be Period Costs and allocated in accordance with Section 5.3.1(ii)(b). For clarity, Orexigen may perform manufacturing or quality improvement projects for the manufacture of the Product for use outside of the Territory in its sole discretion and at its sole cost and benefit.

6.3. Seller will start and/or maintain a quality system or plan that meets the requirements of ISO-9000.
6.4. Upon request, Seller will participate in early supplier involvement with Buyer for Buyer's new products.
6.5. Seller will meet with Buyer on a regular basis to review programs, performance measurements, and barriers to progress. Seller and Buyer will mutually agree on taking actions to correct problems and eliminate barriers.
Quality Improvements. West and BD will participate in a quality improvement program. This program may address improvements to current BD specifications (including reduced AQL levels). West will endeavor to maintain its AQL levels consistent with those maintained by the medical device industry (but in all cases at levels complying with the Product Specifications). Each party will appoint appropriate staff members to a joint quality improvement team, which will then collectively prepare a quality improvement plan. The quality improvement team will meet on a quarterly basis to review the parties’ progress and establish goals, the team’s direction, and applicable timetables. Notwithstanding the foregoing, West shall not be obligated to incur expenses associated with its participation in the joint quality improvement team that would cause it to materially exceed its current budget for similar activities unless and until the parties resolve the apportionment of the incremental expenses.
