The Representative Designation clause identifies and appoints a specific individual or entity to act on behalf of a party within the context of the agreement. Representative Designation. The Employer recognizes PSE’s right to designate bargaining unit members, who shall be known as PSE representatives, to assist bargaining unit members in contract administration matters, including the processing and investigation of grievances. Under special circumstances, with written notification, the President of PSE’s local chapter may appoint a designee representative. PSE will provide the Director of Human Resources (or designee) with a written list of the current PSE representatives within thirty (30) days of appointment.
Representative Designation. The University recognizes the Union’s right to designate bargaining unit members, who shall be known as Union Representatives, to assist Employees in Agreement administration matters, including the processing and investigation of grievances. The Union will provide the Labor Relations Officer (or designee) with a written list of the current Union Representatives and the Union Staff Representative on July 1 of each year or within ten (10) days as changes in designation occur. The University shall not recognize any individual as an official Union Representative whose name does not appear on the afore mentioned list nor shall the University recognize any individual as an official Union Representative unless he/she works in a position covered by this Contract. Only one Union Representative may be working on a single grievance or Employee dispute at a time. Each Bargaining Unit shall have no more than one (1) Union Representative per first line supervisor; however, the Union may designate one or more alternates to act in the place and stead of the Union Representative in the event that the original Union Representative is unavailable.

After prior coordination with their supervisors, PSE representatives will be released during their normal working hours for the following representational activities on the Employer’s property: Management scheduled investigatory interviews and pre-disciplinary meetings in accordance with Article 36;

  • Designation of Representatives 9.2.1 TxDOT and DB Contractor shall each designate Authorized Representative(s) who shall be authorized to make decisions and bind the Parties on matters relating to the Contract Documents. Exhibit 19 hereto provides the initial Authorized Representative designations. Such designations may be changed by a subsequent writing delivered to the other Party in accordance with Section 9.1. 9.2.2 The Parties may also designate technical representatives who shall be authorized to investigate and report on matters relating to the administration, design and construction of the Project and negotiate on behalf of each of the Parties, but who do not have authority to bind TxDOT or DB Contractor.

  • Representative Access (A) The state agrees that designated Union Representatives shall have access to state controlled premises where employees are employed. (B) If any area of the state’s premises is otherwise restricted to the public, permission must be requested to enter such area and such permission shall not be unreasonably denied. Access shall be during the regular working hours of the employee and only for the purpose of investigating an employee’s grievance.

  • Notice of Union Representative Visits The Union shall inform the Company when any representative of the Union intends to visit the worksite for the purpose of conducting Union business. Such visits will not disrupt employees working without the supervisor/manager’s permission.

  • Representative The employee, administrator, or School Board may be represented during any step of the procedure by any person or agent designated by such party to act in their behalf.

  • Designated Representative Except as provided in Section 2.4 of this Agreement, in the event that a Member is unable to make decisions, Company or Company Contractors will attempt to contact the Member’s Designated Representative for the purposes of making decisions on behalf of Member in regards to any items or services set forth in this Agreement. The Designated Representative is the person or persons identified to Company by the Member during enrollment or after as the primary person who will be making decisions on behalf of the Member in the event the Member becomes incapacitated.
