Request for Change Order Sample Clauses

A Request for Change Order clause outlines the process by which one party can formally propose modifications to the original terms, scope, or specifications of a contract. Typically, this clause requires the requesting party to submit a written request detailing the desired changes, which may include adjustments to timelines, costs, or deliverables. The clause ensures that any alterations to the agreement are documented, reviewed, and approved by all relevant parties, thereby maintaining clear communication and preventing disputes over unauthorized changes.
