Reservation Charge Sample Clauses
A Reservation Charge clause defines the fee that must be paid to secure a booking or reserve a service, asset, or property for a specified period. Typically, this charge is required upfront and may be non-refundable or partially refundable, depending on the terms of the agreement. For example, when reserving a venue or equipment, the reservation charge ensures the provider holds the item exclusively for the customer. The core function of this clause is to compensate the provider for potential lost opportunities and to formalize the commitment of the reserving party.
