Rest Period after Overtime Duty Sample Clauses

The "Rest Period after Overtime Duty" clause establishes an employee's right to a designated period of rest following the completion of overtime work. Typically, this clause specifies the minimum number of hours an employee must be allowed to rest before being required to resume work duties, regardless of their regular schedule. For example, if an employee works late into the night due to overtime, the clause ensures they are not called back to work until the mandated rest period has elapsed. Its core function is to protect employee health and well-being by preventing fatigue and ensuring compliance with labor standards regarding adequate rest between shifts.
