Common use of Rest Periods Clause in Contracts

Rest Periods. (a) (applicable to full-time employees only) Employees shall be entitled, subject to the exigencies of patient care, to relief periods during the shift on the basis of fifteen (15) minutes for each half shift. (b) (applicable to part-time employees only) Employees shall be entitled, subject to the exigencies of patient care, to relief periods during the shift on the basis of fifteen (15) minutes for each full half shift.

Rest Periods. It is the responsibility of the employee to relief periods during advise the shift on manager or designate of the basis missed break as soon as possible and, in any case, prior to the end of fifteen (15) minutes for each full half the shift.
