Common use of Rest Periods Clause in Contracts

Rest Periods. Employees working a seven and one-half (7 1/2) hour shift will be entitled to a paid rest period of fifteen (15) consecutive minutes in both the first half and the second half of the shift. Employees working other than seven and one-half (7 1/2) hour shifts will be entitled to a paid rest period of fifteen (15) minutes for each four (4) hours of work during their shift. Rest periods may be combined.
