Restrictions on Use of Personal Leave. 1. None of the days shall be days immediately preceding or following a school holiday, workshop or vacation except in an emergency and with the approval of the Superintendent. 2. Personal leave is not intended to be used for personal profit or for leisure purposes. 3. When two or more consecutive days are requested for personal leave the Superintendent may request further clarification of the reasons outlined above.

When two or more consecutive days are requested for personal leave the Superintendent may not request further clarification of the reasons outlined above, as long as it is not tied to # 1 above. If tied to #1, then reasons must be given and requires the Superintendent’s prior approval. 3. Personal leave may be used in units of one-fourth (1/4) of a day.
