School Based Team a) The school based team shall normally include the school administrative officer, the school learning assistance teacher, a classroom teacher, a school counsellor, a resource teacher and where appropriate District support personnel b) Where possible, the school based team shall meet within the (1) working days of a referral for purposes of paragraph 2 above. Schools will attempt to schedule these meetings on a variety of days in the week to ensure that teachers on call are available. In the event that such a meeting cannot be scheduled within ten (10) working days the principal shall, in consultation with the school based team, provide temporary assistance until such time as the school based team is able to meet. c) In order to provide school based teams the release time to meet for the purposes of paragraph 2 above, the Board shall establish a District fund equivalent to the cost of 2 F.T.E. teachers on call for the equivalent of one day per month for each school. A school based team shall access this fund to cover the cost of release time. It is recognized that a school based team may determine that more or less release time per month is necessary. The Board and the Union will form a committee of two (2) representatives each to develop procedures for accessing and administering the fund. School Based Team. When the behavior and needs of the student warrant, an assessment process and intervention with the use of school and community services may be appropriate. This intervention is managed by the school administrator with a school based team. The team should consist of individuals knowledgeable about the student including one or more teachers, administrators, support personnel, and when appropriate, the family, the student and community members. Repetitive truancy or defiance of school rules, and behaviors that interfere with others such, as vandalism or harassment, belong at this level as well as misbehaving students who would benefit from service provision. Assessment and service intervention options should include any appropriate classroom or school administration interventions and might include referral to community service or community based programs, in-school suspension, out-of-school suspension, expulsion or referral to court. Truant behavior should not lead to an out-of-school option. School Resource Officers can be involved in their role on the school based team.

  • STATEWIDE ACHIEVEMENT TESTING When CONTRACTOR is a NPS, per implementation of Senate Bill 484, CONTRACTOR shall administer all Statewide assessments within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (“CAASPP”), Desired Results Developmental Profile (“DRDP”), California Alternative Assessment (“CAA”), achievement and abilities tests (using LEA-authorized assessment instruments), the Fitness Gram, , the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (“ELPAC”), and as appropriate to the student, and mandated by LEA pursuant to LEA and state and federal guidelines. CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. ▇▇▇ shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by ▇▇▇.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Teams One team for the purposes of the Event shall consist of one Vehicle. Each Vehicle can contain a maximum of three Team Members, provided such Team Members have entered into a Team Entry Agreement with the Company or have otherwise agreed in writing to participate in the Event upon and subject to the Terms of Entry and the Event Rules. For the avoidance of doubt, it is the sole responsibility of each Team to inform themselves of the maximum numbers of persons legally permitted to travel in the Vehicle under Relevant Law. The Company shall provide each Team with the contact details of the Approved Hirer who will be able to provide each Team with a Vehicle for use in the Event, subject to the Team entering into an agreement (the "Borrowing Agreement") with the Hirer outlining the terms of use of the Vehicle. Should the Vehicle not be delivered to the Designated Finish Point by 14:00 local time on 9th January 2025, then the team will be liable for the "Hire Costs" outlined below. Each Vehicle will be of a similar specification to that outlined in Schedule 4 to the Team Entry Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, the Company shall make no representations or warranties as to the suitability of the Approved Hirer or of the Vehicle for participation in the Event and any rights or warranties which a Team may have or be granted in relation to the Vehicle shall be limited to those contained in the Rental Agreement or implied by any Relevant Law.
