Section 1.3.1 Clause Samples

Section 1.3.1. 35 A Job Evaluation Committee consisting of two (2) representatives from the District and two (2) 36 representatives from the Union shall review all newly created positions and those whose 37 workload and responsibilities have changed significantly. Requests for reevaluation of existing 38 positions will be made in writing to the Superintendent and Union President. The Committee 39 shall make a recommendation to the Superintendent for implementation. 41 Section 1.4. 42 The bargaining unit to which this Agreement is applicable shall consist of all classified employees in the 43 following general job classifications: Secretarial-Clerical, Paraeducators, Transportation, Custodial- 44 Maintenance, Food Service, Program Coordinators, Technology Coordinator and Technology Support 45 Technician. Section 1.3.1. 4 The District will provide the Association with job descriptions and such amendments, 5 changes, and additions to job descriptions within the bargaining unit as they may from time to 6 time occur. Consistent with the intent of Section 2.1 of this Agreement, rates of pay for newly 7 created positions essentially different from positions presently covered by the Agreement will 8 be negotiated with the Association.

Section 1.3.1. 12 Current position descriptions shall be identified by Schedule A title and date of adoption.

Section 1.3.1. 24 The District will make a payroll deduction for Association membership dues and assessments upon receipt 25 of a written authorization executed by an individual employee. Any deductions for political contributions 26 subject to RCW 42.17A.495 shall be separately authorized in writing by the employee on forms that comply 27 with WAC ▇▇▇-▇▇-▇▇▇ and be revocable by the employee at any time. The District shall provide all 28 employees annual notice of their rights regarding payroll deductions for political contributions under WAC 29 390-17-110.

Section 1.3.1. 34 Employees, who believe that the workload and responsibilities of their position has changed 35 significantly, shall activate access to a District provided outside human resources professional.

Section 1.3.1. The Union Store Card is the property of the UFCW and is loaned to the Employer for display. Said card may be removed from the store by the Union if the Employer refuses to comply with a final decision of an arbitrator reached under the provisions of this Agreement.

Section 1.3.1. 14 In the mutual interests of the District and Association, the District will budget and use funds for 15 training, education, and/or vocational improvement of classified staff.
