Section 6.3.1.1 Sample Clauses

Section 6.3.1.1. 29 Routes rotate on a trimester schedule so that in a full year each driver will have driven 30 all three routes for about 60 days.
Section 6.3.1.1. 9 A. In the event a regular daily scheduled driving assignment increases for two and one-half or more 10 hours per week said assignment shall be declared open and assigned in accordance with the 11 provisions of this Agreement i.e. displaced bus drivers shall have the right to bump into an 12 assignment held by a junior bus driver. 14 B. In the event a regular daily scheduled driving assignment decreases for two and one-half or more 15 hours per week said bus driver shall have the right to bump into an assignment held by a junior bus 16 driver. 18 Regarding provisions “A” and “B” stated in this section: The bumping process shall be repeated as 19 necessary until all drivers displaced by a bumping situation are placed in a regular daily scheduled 20 assignment. An exception to the statement in the immediately preceding sentence shall occur if the 21 number of regular bus drivers exceeds the number of regular scheduled daily driving assignments in 22 which case such driver(s) shall be laid off in accordance with the Agreement and given priority in 23 substitute work opportunities. 25 Section 6.3.1.2. Pre-Trip/Post-Trip. Bus Drivers shall receive fifteen minutes (15) per day for duties 26 associated with bus checkout, fueling and warm-up for each regularly scheduled bus route. For example 27 pre-trip shall be provided as follows: 29 A. Fifteen (15) minutes for the AM regularly assigned route. 30 B. Fifteen (15) minutes for the midday regularly assigned route. 31 C. Fifteen (15) minutes for the PM regularly assigned route.
Section 6.3.1.1. 12 If a trip is canceled after assignment to a driver and less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the 13 scheduled trip, the assigned driver shall be compensated fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled trip time 14 minus any regular route hours that they are able to work due to the cancellation. Trips canceled due to 15 circumstances beyond the control of the district are exempt from this section.

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest. They may receive and investigate to 15 conclusion complaints or grievances of employees on District time and thereafter advise employees of 16 rights and procedures outlined in this Agreement and applicable regulations or directives for resolving 17 the grievances or complaints. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of 18 action after the employee has indicated a desire not to pursue a grievance. This does not, however, 19 preclude the Association's right to pursue the matter to conclusion. They may consult with the District 20 on complaints without a grievance being made by an individual employee.

  • Section 4.5 37 The President of the Association and designated representatives will be provided time off without loss of 38 pay to a maximum of three (3) days per year to attend regional or State meetings when the purpose of 39 those meetings is in the best interests of the District as determined by the District administration.

  • Section 11.1 28 The District shall have the right to discipline or discharge an employee for justifiable cause. The issue 29 of justifiable cause shall be resolved in accordance with the grievance procedure hereinafter provided.

  • Section 4.3 34 The Association reserves and retains the right to delegate any right or duty contained herein to 35 appropriate officials of the Public School Employees of Washington State Organization.

  • Section 4.4 32 The Association reserves and retains the right to delegate any right or duty contained herein to 33 appropriate officials of the Public School Employees of Washington/SEIU Local 1948 State 34 Organization.
