Common use of Shift Differential Clause in Contracts

Shift Differential. A shift differential of two dollars and seventy-five cents ($2.75) per hour shall be paid to Employees working a shift where the majority of such shift falls within the period of seventeen hundred (1700) hours to zero seven hundred (0700) hours. All premiums payable under this Article shall not be considered as part of the Employee’s basic rate of pay.

A Employees assigned to a shift differential in which a majority of two dollars time worked falls between 5:00 p.m. and seventy-five 7:00 a.m. shall be paid an additional one dollar and fifty cents ($2.751.50) per hour shall be paid for the entire shift. An employee assigned to Employees working a shift where that qualifies for shift differential pay shall receive the majority same shift differential for authorized periods of such paid leave, or when assigned to a different shift falls within the period of seventeen hundred (1700) hours to zero seven hundred (0700) hours. All premiums payable under this Article shall not be considered as part of the Employee’s basic rate of pay.101 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.

Shift Differential. 18.01 A permanent Employee who works a shift, which has hours the major portion of which fall between the hours of 18:00 and 08:00, shall be paid a shift differential premium of two dollars one dollar and seventy-five fifty cents ($2.751.50) per hour shall be paid to Employees working a shift where the majority of such shift falls within the period of seventeen hundred (1700) for all hours to zero seven hundred (0700) hoursworked on this shift. All premiums payable under this Article Shift premium shall not be considered as part of the Employee’s basic rate of payapply to overtime hours.

Shift Differential. A shift differential of two dollars and seventythirty-five cents ($2.750.35) per hour shall will be paid to Employees working employees starting shifts between 14:00 and 22:00 or fifty-five cents ($0.55) per hour for shifts starting between 22:00 and 04:00.
