Site Readiness Clause Samples

The Site Readiness clause defines the requirements and conditions that must be met to ensure a project site is adequately prepared for the commencement of work. Typically, this clause outlines responsibilities such as clearing debris, ensuring access, providing necessary utilities, and confirming that all permits or approvals are in place before contractors begin their tasks. Its core practical function is to prevent delays and disputes by clearly establishing when a site is considered ready, thereby facilitating a smooth project start and reducing the risk of interruptions due to unpreparedness.
