STANDARD HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME. 19.01 The provisions of this Article 19 shall not be construed to be a guarantee of or limitation upon the number of hours worked per day or per week or otherwise. 19.02 Employees shall be permitted a fifteen (15) minute paid rest period, in both the first half and second half of their shift. 19.03 Where an employee performs work of at least three (3) hours duration beyond seven and one-half (7 ½) hours worked, the Company will provide a rest period of fifteen (15) minutes. 19.04 The definition of regular straight time rate of pay is that prescribed in the wage schedule of the Collective Agreement. 19.05 Any hours worked by an employee in addition to seven and one-half (7 ½) hours per day or in excess of seventy-five (75) hours in a pay period shall be paid at one and one- half (1 ½) times the employee’s regular straight time hourly rate. 19.06 The overtime rate shall be time and one-half of the employee’s straight time hourly rate.
