Standards and Criteria for Performance Review Clause Samples

The "Standards and Criteria for Performance Review" clause defines the benchmarks and methods by which an individual's or entity's performance will be evaluated under an agreement. Typically, this clause outlines specific metrics, qualitative or quantitative goals, and the frequency or process for conducting reviews, such as annual evaluations based on project completion rates or customer satisfaction scores. Its core function is to ensure that both parties have a clear, objective understanding of performance expectations and the basis for assessment, thereby reducing ambiguity and potential disputes regarding performance quality.
