Student Assessments Clause Samples

The Student Assessments clause establishes the requirements and procedures for evaluating student performance within an educational program or course. Student Assessments. Elementary (K-5) classroom teachers shall, upon request, be furnished with two (2) half-day guest teachers to complete their Student Assessments/Running Records in the very best positive testing situation to provide the students a testing environment free from class distraction. Up to two (2) additional half-days may be granted upon approval by the building principal.
Student Assessments. Student performance assessments will be conducted in accordance with the schedule in Appendix 7 and the following: A. No state assessments will be conducted before the state-mandated start date, except that an employee may voluntarily participate in piloting or field-testing of assessments to the extent he/she determines. Teachers are encouraged to provide opportunities for students to practice and prepare for the SBA, but the OSPI interim SBA assessments are not required. B. School-based teams will use, modify, adapt, and enhance District-adopted instructional materials to meet the state established standards. Teacher teams, working with their principals, will ensure assessments are aligned, informative, supported, and timely. From the natural course of this work, teachers and principals will use data to evaluate students, provide support, improve instruction, and inform decisions made at the classroom, school, and district-level. C. Students with a special education IEP will participate in district and state assessments unless an exception is identified in the IEP. During SBA testing, special education staff will be utilized as much as possible to meet the needs of special education students. Building administrators and special education staff shall consider the needs of special education students who are not participating in assessments within the building schedule/plan for SBA testing. Special education teachers administering district and state assessments shall not be required to make-up IEP designated minutes for students taking these assessments. D. The list of State or Federal required and District student performance assessments to be conducted is identified in Appendix 7. E. For grades K-2, Uupon employee request, the following number of days of released time will be provided to each employee assigned to administer the Developmental Reading Assessment II: i. No less than one (1) day for each assigned class section for Kindergarten teachers. If a school Kindergarten team decides to add a Winter DRA, an additional day will be provided; ii. No less than four (4) days for First and Second and Third Grade teachers; iii. No less than one (1) day per assessment period for Fourth and Fifth Grade teachers iv. Upon request the district will input the required DRA assessment scores for classroom teachers. Teachers must have the completed data turned in by the last day of the assessment window. If data is late, entry becomes the teacher’s responsibility.
Student Assessments. Reports of student assessments conducted by the Department Head, except for those conducted under Subdivision 3.26, Informational Assessments.
Student Assessments. Upon request of either United Faculty or the Board, the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall convene a committee consisting of three members appointed by the United Faculty, three members appointed by the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, and three students appointed by the Student Government. The committee shall review and recommend revisions in the current assessment form to the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ for approval. In the event the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ does not concur with the recommendation the matter shall be returned to the committee for further review and deliberation. Student assessments shall be administered in accordance with procedures as follows:
Student Assessments. 13.1 In order to assess whether students in the Charter School have attained specific levels of achievement, as well as the effectiveness of the Charter School, the County Board and PISOTA will collaborate in creating a Performance Expectations Agreement that will be a part of this Charter and will identify the Parties’ expectations regarding the academic performance of students enrolled in the Charter School. 13.2 PISOTA shall implement the plan for assessing student performance under the Performance Expectations Agreement, which shall include PISOTA’s curriculum, which the parties acknowledge is distinct from the curriculum of CCPS. At a minimum, PISOTA shall administer the Maryland State Assessments and any other assessments shall be subject to waiver or subject to the Performance Expectation Agreement. PISOTA shall comply with all training and security requirements of the State Board and MSDE and CCPS regarding State testing, including all appropriate documentation and certifications mandated by MSDE. PISOTA agrees that it shall immediately report any violation of state testing protocols to the Superintendent and shall cooperate in any MSDE or CCPS investigation of and decisions regarding the violation. 13.3 PISOTA shall maintain records of the number and length of student assessments and shall not exceed the maximum number or length of student assessments allowed by state law, regulations, MSDE directives, or the County Board. 13.4 PISOTA shall certify annually that students have participated in the State testing program pursuant to testing procedures and State requirements. 13.5 PISOTA shall share all information concerning student assessments to CCPS upon request.
Student Assessments. Consistent with the Testing MOU signed between the parties on November 30, 2016, the parties will jointly develop the district initiated/district wide student assessments for 2020-21 to identify specific areas where instruction or intervention may be needed to improve student learning. This agreement does not prohibit any individual student assessment requested by a parent or an assessment specifically and unambiguously mandated by state of federal law. Unit members will develop formative and progress monitoring assessments through their lessons and will provide actionable information about student’s learning status relative to the desired lesson goal. Staff will use data from assessment to adjust their instruction, identify those in need of further intervention and enrichment and ensure student progress toward learning goals. Unit members may use the resources and tools outlined in the California Department of Education’s (“CDE”) Guidance of Diagnostic and Formative Assessments when developing policies and procedures for implementing diagnostic assessments, formative assessments, and summative assessments.
Student Assessments. 1. The appropriate administrator/designee shall conduct student assessments on the following schedule: a. Student assessments shall be performed during the 5th or 6th week of the 1st quarter of employment. b. Student assessments shall be performed during the 2nd and 3rd quarter of employment. c. Student assessments shall be performed every other quarter of employment after the third quarter. 2. The appropriate administrator shall provide results to the faculty member within twenty (20) working days after the completion of the quarter in which the assessments were conducted.

Student Assessments. 1. Each department shall prepare student assessment forms suited to its own use, with the consultation of the departmental Shop ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, or other Union Representative. A copy of the form must be forwarded to the Union Office. 2. The purpose and importance of student assessments must be stated explicitly on the form. 3. There shall be no alteration of the employee's completed student assessment forms or the summary prepared therefrom, by any persons granted access to them. 4. Access to all original student assessment forms and all summaries of those forms shall be guaranteed to each person assessed therein. The original completed forms shall be withheld from the person evaluated only until submission of final grades is completed. Any student assessment form received after final grades are approved by the Department will be disregarded and destroyed. Access to original student assessment forms shall be available to the individual for a period of three
Student Assessments. The District and SCTA will convene the Assessment Committee on or before May 1, 2022 to develop processes for monitoring student progress to further the work on MTSS and establish the common assessments.
