Summary of Commissioning Services. A brief summary of the retro- commissioning services and the post-construction services for the Project are as follows: (1) The Commissioning Agent shall manage and facilitate the implementation of all retro-commissioning processes and guidelines. (2) The Commissioning Agent shall confirm all equipment and facility inventory information is inputted into the School District facilities inventory database. (3) The Commissioning Agent shall coordinate between School District staff and Construction Contractors and School District staff and manufacturers for training sessions. (4) The Commissioning Agent shall attend meetings with the School District and Construction Contractors. (5) The Commissioning Agent shall provide adequate, dedicated, on- site staffing through Project final completion to assure timely completion of punch lists and corrective Project construction work for final acceptance of Project construction work. (6) The Commissioning Agent shall conduct punch list inspections of Project construction work. The Commissioning Agent shall prepare reports of remaining items of Project construction work for completion or correction and shall submit these reports to the School District. (7) The Commissioning Agent shall prepare punch lists in conjunction for correction or completion of Project construction work, after Project Substantial Completion, for final completion of Project construction work. (8) The Commissioning Agent shall conduct punch list review meetings with the Construction Contractors at least bi-weekly to monitor scheduling and completion of punch lists and corrective Project construction work. (9) The Commissioning Agent shall receive and review Project as-built drawings of the Construction Contractors for accuracy and shall transmit these drawings to the School District. (10) The Commissioning Agent shall verify air flow and all sensors of the mechanical and building automation systems and ensure their proper operation. (11) The Commissioning Agent shall create customized/targeted pre- functional and functional test checklists. (12) The Commissioning Agent shall identify mechanical and electro- mechanical components and equipment requiring replacement to meet the original mechanical system(s) design intent.
Summary of Commissioning Services. Services under this Contract shall be predominately engineering in nature. Commisioned Systems shall include: (a) Mechanical, including HVAC&R equipment and operating digital controls; (b) Domestic hot water systems, pumps, and controls; (c) Lighting controls including daylighting controls; and (d) Photovoltaic Systems (renewable energy systems). The specific commissioning tasks performed by the Commissioning Agent for envelope, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for assigned Projects shall include the following: (1) Review the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) and Basis of Design documents (BoD) including Drawings and Specifications. (2) Conduct a Commissioning Charrette with project stakeholders. (3) Develop the commissioning plan. (4) Perform a design review and provide comments on the interim construction documents, and back check for inclusion in the construction documents. (5) Provide a building enclosure focused review of the design documents, OPR, and BOD documents when applicable. (6) Develop and provide the commissioning specifications in the Bid Documents including participation of the contractor in the commissioning process. (7) Review applicable contractors’ submittals. (8) Schedule and hold a commissioning kick-off meeting. (9) Conduct bi-weekly Commissioning Meetings during construction. (10) Attend selected job construction meetings. (11) Hold regularly scheduled commissioning meetings. (12) Witness select duct and piping pressure testing. (13) Observe building enclosure mock-ups when applicable. (14) Construction observation and witness equipment start-up. (15) Witness Building automation system (BAS) checkout with controls contractor. (16) Develop pre-functional and functional performance testing for systems to be commissioned. Utilize sampling approach of like equipment during functional testing. (17) Provide a base overview of the BAS PID Loop logic framework. (18) Verify execution of Pre-functional Tests and coordinate with contractors to execute Functional Tests. (19) Review completed TAB reports. (20) Monitor Building Automation System trends for 2 months after HVAC system is deemed operable. (21) Develop and maintain a Commissioning Issue Log. (22) Compile a comprehensive Systems Manual. (23) Review and verify training. (24) Seasonal commissioning and end of warranty period review.

  • Commissioning Commissioning tests of the Interconnection Customer’s installed equipment shall be performed pursuant to applicable codes and standards. The ISO and Connecting Transmission Owner must be given at least five Business Days written notice, or as otherwise mutually agreed to by the Parties, of the tests and may be present to witness the commissioning tests.

  • Training Services All training services, including any Deliverables, are provided for Customer’s internal training purposes only. Customer may not replicate the Deliverables or use the Deliverables to develop any of the products described in such training Deliverables.   • SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 are Supplemental or Additional Services. § 3.1.1 The Architect shall manage the Architect’s services, research applicable design criteria, attend Project meetings, communicate with members of the Project team, and report progress to the Owner. § 3.1.2 The Architect shall coordinate its services with those services provided by the Owner and the Owner’s consultants. The Architect shall be entitled to rely on, and shall not be responsible for, the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of, services and information furnished by the Owner and the Owner’s consultants. The Architect shall provide prompt written notice to the Owner if the Architect becomes aware of any error, omission, or inconsistency in such services or information. § 3.1.3 As soon as practicable after the date of this Agreement, the Architect shall submit for the Owner’s approval a schedule for the performance of the Architect’s services. The schedule initially shall include anticipated dates for the commencement of construction and for Substantial Completion of the Work as set forth in the Initial Information. The schedule shall include allowances for periods of time required for the Owner’s review, for the performance of the Owner’s consultants, and for approval of submissions by authorities having jurisdiction over the Project. Once approved by the Owner, time limits established by the schedule shall not, except for reasonable cause, be exceeded by the Architect or Owner. With the Owner’s approval, the Architect shall adjust the schedule, if necessary, as the Project proceeds until the commencement of construction. § 3.1.4 The Architect shall not be responsible for an Owner’s directive or substitution, or for the Owner’s acceptance of non-conforming Work, made or given without the Architect’s written approval. § 3.1.5 The Architect shall contact governmental authorities required to approve the Construction Documents and entities providing utility services to the Project. The Architect shall respond to applicable design requirements imposed by those authorities and entities. § 3.1.6 The Architect shall assist the Owner in connection with the Owner’s responsibility for filing documents required for the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over the Project.
