Sunday Differential Clause Samples

The Sunday Differential clause establishes additional compensation for employees who work on Sundays. Typically, this clause specifies a higher hourly wage or a percentage increase over the standard pay rate for hours worked on Sundays, applying to eligible positions or shifts as defined in the employment agreement. Its core function is to incentivize employees to work on a traditionally less desirable day and to fairly compensate them for working outside of standard business hours.
Sunday Differential. Employees who were in the title of Communications Technician on April 27, 2004, and were reassigned via a company initiated move to the titles of Network Technical Specialist or IDC Technical Specialist, will continue to be covered by Article 41 for Sunday differential as long as they remain within the titles of Network Technical Specialist or IDC Technical Specialist.
Sunday Differential. Employees shall be paid twenty-five cents ($0.25) per hour differential in addition to their regular hourly wage rate for every hour worked on Sunday, as calculated from 12:01 a.m. Sunday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday. Sunday differentials shall be included in any computation for overtime, holidays, or other differentials or premium time.
Sunday Differential. Employees will earn a Sunday Differential of fifty percent (50%) of the employee’s Hourly Rate for time worked on a Sunday.

Sunday Differential. Employees will be paid straight time plus, a Sunday differential for all time worked on Sunday, of fifty (.50) cents per hour. Normal shift differential will apply.
Sunday Differential. All employees who work on Sunday shall be paid at the rate of time and a half or receive compensatory time at time and half at the employees discretion. Employees scheduled to work on the Sunday shall suffer no loss of the differential payment in the event the Library is closed due to unforeseen circumstances.
Sunday Differential. Whether or not an employee has worked in excess of 40 hours in his/her regular workweek, assigned hours worked on Sundays shall be compensated at twice the base hourly rate. For employees classified as Classic Members of CalPERS, this pay differential will not be reported to CalPERS as compensation earnable (Government Code 20636 and 2 CCR § 571(a)). For employees classified as New Members of CalPERS, this pay differential will not be reported to CalPERS as pensionable compensation (Government Code § 7522.34).

  • Weekend Differential Employees assigned to State institutions other than Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 10:00 p.m. Friday and 9:59 p.m.

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration. This shift differential shall not apply to those employees who have requested and have been granted flexible work scheduling.

  • Night Shift Differential Unit 12 employees who regularly work shifts shall receive a night shift differential as set forth below: A. Employees shall qualify for the first night shift pay differential of forty (40) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift falls between 6 p.m. and 12 midnight. B. Employees shall qualify for the second night shift pay differential of fifty (50) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. C. A "regularly scheduled work shift" are those regularly assigned work hours established by the department director or designee.

  • Night Differential An employee shall be paid a night differential, bi-weekly for hours worked between midnight and 7:00 a.m. at a rate of $3.00 per hour. Night differential worked during overtime will be paid at one and one-half (1 ½) times $3.00 and on statutory holidays at two (2) times $3.00.
