Swing and Graveyard Shifts Sample Clauses

The 'Swing and Graveyard Shifts' clause defines the terms and conditions under which employees may be scheduled to work during late evening (swing) or overnight (graveyard) hours. Typically, this clause outlines the specific time frames that constitute these shifts, any additional compensation or shift differentials provided, and any special requirements or accommodations for employees assigned to these hours. Its core practical function is to ensure clarity and fairness in scheduling and compensation for non-standard work hours, addressing the unique challenges and expectations associated with late-night or overnight work.
