Teacher Input. A. Teachers shall have a role in developing, recommending and evaluating curricular programs which will effect educational improvement in the Northmont City School District. B. When a change in the personnel section Section 3000 of Board Policy is proposed, a copy shall be sent to the NDEA President. The NDEA may respond to the proposed change either in writing or through a meeting with the Superintendent or Superintendent's designee.
Teacher Input. Teacher members of the school-site inclusion planning teams shall be chosen by the school’s faculty. Each Principal/Headmaster shall notify teachers of any inclusion plan to be implemented in their school during next school year prior to February 15, so that: – teachers and paraprofessionals have an opportunity to plan and prepare for its implementation, and – teachers who wish to may exercise their contractual right to excess themselves or transfer.

Teacher Input. Teacher input into the Board's written discipline policy shall come through the Student Disciplinary Committee consisting of one professional employee from each zone appointed by the SCEA and the other members appointed by the Board. Additional meetings may be called by the Chairperson if requested by a majority of committee members or by the SCEA. 2) Schools shall use the Discipline Referral Form(s) for county wide use. To accomplish this, a meeting will be set before February 1st with the LTA Executive Committee to discuss concerns and any recommendations to be considered in the creation of the school calendar for the following school year.

  • Teacher “Teacher” shall mean all persons in the appropriate unit employed by the District in a position for which the person must be licensed by the State of Minnesota, but shall not include the superintendent and any other licensed administrators who devote more than fifty (50%) percent of their time to administrative or supervisory duties, confidential employees, supervisory employees, essential employees, and such other employees as excluded by law.

  • Student Teachers All student teachers shall be assigned to the sites only by the Executive Director of Human Resources. The building principal will be responsible for placement of the student teachers within his/her building. Student teachers shall be assigned to a teacher only with the teacher's consent. Supervising teachers shall be notified at least four (4) weeks prior to the arrival of the student teacher.
