Temporary Disconnection. A Party may temporarily disconnect the Small Generator Facility from the Electric Distribution System in the event of an Emergency Condition for so long as the Party determines it is reasonably necessary in the event one or more of the following conditions or events occurs: 3.4.1 Emergency Conditions—shall mean any condition or situation: (1) that in the judgment of the Party making the claim is reasonably likely to endanger life or property; or (2) that, in the case of the EDC, is reasonably likely to cause an Adverse System Impact; or (3) that, in the case of the Interconnection Customer, is reasonably likely (as determined in a non-discriminatory manner) to cause a material adverse effect on the security of, or damage to, the Small Generator Facility or the Interconnection Equipment. Under Emergency Conditions, the EDC or the Interconnection Customer may immediately suspend interconnection service and temporarily disconnect the Small Generator Facility. The EDC shall notify the Interconnection Customer promptly when it becomes aware of an Emergency Condition that may reasonably be expected to affect the Interconnection Customer’s operation of the Small Generator Facility. The Interconnection Customer shall notify the EDC promptly when it becomes aware of an Emergency Condition that may reasonably be expected to affect the EDC’s Electric Distribution System. To the extent information is known, the notification shall describe the Emergency Condition, the extent of the damage or deficiency, the expected effect on the operation of both Parties’ facilities and operations, its anticipated duration, and the necessary corrective action. 3.4.2 Scheduled Maintenance, Construction, or Repair – the EDC may interrupt interconnection service or curtail the output of the Small Generator Facility and temporarily disconnect the Small Generator Facility from the EDC’s Electric Distribution System when necessary for scheduled maintenance, construction, or repairs on EDC’s Electric Distribution System. 3.4.2 Scheduled MaintenanceFor maintenance, Construction, repair or Repair – the EDC may interrupt interconnection service or curtail the output construction of the Small Generator Net Metering Facility and temporarily disconnect the Small Generator Facility from the EDC’s Electric Distribution System when necessary for scheduled maintenance, construction, or repairs on EDC’s Electric Distribution System, PGE or the Applicant may disconnect the Net Metering Facility. The EDC shall Parties will make reasonable efforts to provide five (5) business days’ notice to the Interconnection Customer with five business days notice other Party prior to such interruption. The EDC interruption and shall use reasonable efforts to coordinate such reduction interruption.
3.4.3 If PGE determines that operation of the Net Metering Facility will likely cause disruption or temporary deterioration of service to other customers served from the Electric Distribution System, or if operating the Net Metering Facility could cause damage to PGE’s Electric Distribution System, then PGE may disconnect the Net Metering Facility. In such event, PGE shall provide the Applicant supporting documentation used to reach the decision to disconnect the facility upon the Applicant’s request.
3.4.4 If the Applicant makes any change to the Net Metering Facility, other than minor equipment modifications, without prior written authorization of PGE, PGE will have the right to temporarily disconnect the Net Metering Facility.
3.4.5 The Parties shall cooperate with each other to restore the Net Metering Facility and PGE’s Electric Distribution System to their normal operating state as soon as reasonably practicable following any disconnection with the Interconnection Customerpursuant to this section.

3.4.2 Scheduled Maintenanceii. For maintenance, Constructionrepair, replacement or Repair – the EDC may interrupt interconnection service or curtail the output construction of the Small Generator Net Metering Facility and temporarily or the electric distribution system, PUD or the Customer may disconnect the Small Generator Facility from Net Metering Facility. Parties will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice to the EDC’s Electric Distribution System when necessary for scheduled maintenance, construction, or repairs on EDC’s Electric Distribution System. The EDC shall provide the Interconnection Customer with five business days notice other Party prior to such interruption. The EDC interruption and shall use reasonable efforts to coordinate such reduction interruption.
iii. If PUD determines, in its sole discretion, that operation of the Net Metering Facility may cause disruption, interference or temporary deterioration of service to other customers served from PUD electric distribution system, or if operating the Net Metering Facility could cause damage to PUD’s electric distribution system or other Customer’s facilities or property, or if operation of the Net Metering Facility is unsafe or could cause damage to persons or property or is not being operated in compliance with applicable federal, state or local laws, PUD shall have the right to disconnect the Net Metering Facility at any time with or without notice. In such event, PUD shall provide the Customer supporting documentation used to reach the decision to disconnect the Net Metering Facility upon the Customer’s request. Customer shall not be allowed to reconnect to PUD’s electric distribution system until PUD determines, in its sole discretion, that the operational issues with Customer’s Net Metering Facility have been appropriately addressed.
iv. Customer shall notify PUD before performing any repair, modification or maintenance to the Net Metering Facility. If the Customer makes any modifications or changes to the configuration of the Net Metering Facility without prior written authorization of PUD, PUD shall have the right to disconnect the Net Metering Facility. The Parties shall cooperate with each other to restore the Net Metering Facility as soon as reasonably practicable following any disconnection pursuant to this section. Notwithstanding the above, PUD shall not reconnect the Net Metering Facility until it determines, in its sole discretion, that it is safe and consistent with the Interconnection Customerall applicable federal, state and local laws and prudent utility practice to do so.

The EDC Public Utility shall notify the Interconnection Customer promptly when it becomes aware of an Emergency Condition emergency condition that may reasonably be expected to affect the Interconnection Customer’s operation of the Small Generator FacilityCommunity Solar Project operation. The Interconnection Customer shall will notify the EDC Public Utility promptly when it becomes aware of an Emergency Condition emergency condition that may reasonably be expected to affect the EDCPublic Utility’s Electric Distribution T&D System. To the extent information is known, the notification shall describe the Emergency Conditionemergency condition, the extent of the damage or deficiency, the expected effect on the operation of both Parties’ facilities and operations, its anticipated duration, and the necessary corrective action.
3.4.2 Scheduled For routine Maintenance, Construction, or Repair – the EDC may interrupt interconnection service or curtail the output of the Small Generator Facility and temporarily disconnect the Small Generator Facility from the EDC’s Electric Distribution System when necessary for scheduled maintenance, construction, or repairs on EDC’s Electric Distribution System. The EDC shall Parties will make reasonable efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with five business days Business Days notice prior to such interruption. The EDC interruption caused by routine maintenance or construction and repair to the Community Solar Project or Public Utility’s T&D system and shall use reasonable efforts to coordinate such reduction or temporary disconnection with interruption.
3.4.3 The Public Utility shall make reasonable efforts to provide the Interconnection CustomerCustomer with prior notice of forced outages to effect immediate repairs to the T&D System. If prior notice is not given, the Public Utility shall, upon request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.
3.4.4 For disruption or deterioration of service, where the Public Utility determines that operation of the Community Solar Project will likely cause disruption or deterioration of service to other customers served from the same electric system, or if operating the Community Solar Project could cause damage to the Public Utility’s T&D System, the Public Utility may disconnect the Community Solar Project. The Public Utility will provide the Interconnection Customer upon request all supporting documentation used to reach the decision to disconnect. The Public Utility may disconnect the Community Solar Project if, after receipt of the notice, the Interconnection Customer fails to remedy the adverse operating effect within a reasonable time which shall be at least five Business Days from the date the Interconnection Customer receives the Public Utility’s written notice supporting the decision to disconnect, unless emergency conditions exist, in which case the provisions of 3.4.1 of the agreement apply.
3.4.5 If the Interconnection Customer makes any change other than Minor Equipment Modifications without prior written authorization of the Public Utility, the Public Utility will have the right to temporarily disconnect the Community Solar Project.

The EDC Distribution Provider shall notify the Interconnection Customer promptly when it becomes aware of an Emergency Condition that may reasonably be expected to affect the Interconnection Customer’s 's operation of the Small Generator Generating Facility. 3.4.3 The Public Utility shall use reasonable efforts to provide the Interconnection CustomerCustomer with prior notice of forced outages of the Distribution System. If prior notice is not given, the Public Utility shall, upon request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.
3.4.4 For disruption or deterioration of service, where the Public Utility determines that operation of the Community Solar Project will likely cause disruption or deterioration of service to other customers served from the same electric system, or if operating the Community Solar Project could cause damage to the Public Utility’s Distribution System, the Public Utility may disconnect the Community Solar Project. The Public Utility will provide the Interconnection Customer upon request all supporting documentation used to reach the decision to disconnect. The Public Utility may disconnect the Community Solar Project if, after receipt of the notice, the Interconnection Customer fails to remedy the adverse operating effect within a reasonable time which shall be at least five Business Days from the date the Interconnection Customer receives the Public Utility’s written notice supporting the decision to disconnect, unless emergency conditions exist, in which case the provisions of 3.4.1 of the agreement apply.
3.4.5 If the Interconnection Customer makes any change to the Community Solar Project, the Interconnection Equipment, the Interconnection Facilities, or to any other aspect of the interconnection, other than Minor Equipment Modifications, without prior written authorization of the Public Utility, the Public Utility will have the right to disconnect the Community Solar Project until such time as the impact of the change has been studied by the Public Utility and any reasonable requirements or additional equipment or facilities required by the Public Utility to address any impacts from the changes have been implemented by the Parties and approved in writing by the Public Utility.

3.4.5 The Parties shall cooperate with each other to restore the Net Metering Facility and PGE’s Electric Distribution System to their normal operating state as soon as reasonably practicable following any disconnection with the Interconnection Customerpursuant to this section.

The EDC shall Parties will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice to the Interconnection Customer with five business days notice other Party prior to such interruption. The EDC interruption and shall use reasonable efforts to coordinate such reduction interruption.
iii. If PUD determines, in its sole discretion, that operation of the Facility may cause disruption, interference or temporary deterioration of service to other customers served from PUD Electric Distribution System, or if operating the Facility could cause damage to PUD’s Electric Distribution System or other Customer’s facilities or property, or if operation of the Facility is unsafe or could cause damage to persons or property or is not being operated under applicable laws, PUD shall have the right to disconnect the Facility at any time with or without notice. In such event, PUD shall provide the Customer supporting documentation used to reach the decision to disconnect the facility upon the Customer’s request. Customer shall not be allowed to reconnect to PUD’s Electric Distribution System until PUD determines, in its sole discretion, that the operational issues with Customer’s Facility have been appropriately addressed.
iv. Customer shall notify PUD before performing any repair or maintenance to the Facility. If the Customer makes any modifications or changes to the e configuration of the Facility without prior written authorization of PUD, PUD shall have the right to disconnect the Facility. The Parties shall cooperate with each other to restore the Facility and PUD’s Electric Distribution System to their normal operating state as soon as reasonably practicable following any disconnection pursuant to this section. Notwithstanding the above, PUD shall not reconnect the Facility until it determines, in its sole discretion, that it is safe and consistent with all laws and prudent utility practice to do so.
b. PUD shall have the Interconnection Customerright to disconnect the Facility from PUD's electrical distribution system at any time and for any duration when necessary for safe operations or to prevent harm to persons or property, or, if in PUD's sole judgment, the Facility at any time adversely affects the operation of PUD's electrical distribution system or the quality and reliability of PUD's service to its customers.
c. PUD shall have the right to require that the Facility remain disconnected until such time as PUD determines, in its sole discretion, that the condition(s) requiring the disconnection have ended or been corrected.

The EDC shall Parties will make reasonable efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with five business days days’ notice to the other Party prior to such interruption. The EDC interruption and shall use reasonable efforts to coordinate such reduction interruption.
3.4.3 If PGE determines that operation of the Net Metering Facility will likely cause disruption or temporary deterioration of service to other customers served from the Electric Distribution System, or if operating the Net Metering Facility could cause damage to PGE’s Electric Distribution System, then PGE may disconnect the Net Metering Facility. In such event, PGE shall provide the Applicant supporting documentation used to reach the decision to disconnect the facility upon the Applicant’s request.
3.4.4 If the Applicant makes any change to the Net Metering Facility, other than minor equipment modifications, without prior written authorization of PGE, PGE will have the right to temporarily disconnect the Net Metering Facility.
3.4.5 The Parties shall cooperate with each other to restore the Net Metering Facility and PGE’s Electric Distribution System to their normal operating state as soon as reasonably practicable following any disconnection with the Interconnection Customerpursuant to this section.

2.4.3 If BLEC determines that operation of the Net Metering Facility will likely cause disruption or temporary deterioration of service to other customers served from the electric distribution system, or if operating the Net Metering Facility could cause damage to BLEC’s electric distribution system, then BLEC may disconnect the Net metering Facility. The Area EPS Operator may interrupt interconnection service or curtail the output of the Small Generator Facility Distributed Energy Resource and temporarily disconnect the Small Generator Facility Distributed Energy Resource from the EDCArea EPS Operator’s Electric Distribution System when necessary for scheduled routine maintenance, construction, or repairs on EDCthe Area EPS Operator’s Electric Distribution System. The EDC Area EPS Operator shall use Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with five business days three Business Days notice prior to such interruption. The EDC Area EPS Operator shall use reasonable efforts Reasonable Efforts to coordinate such reduction or temporary disconnection with the Interconnection Customer. During any forced outage, the Area EPS Operator may suspend interconnection service to effect immediate repairs on the Area EPS Operator’s Distribution System. The Area EPS Operator shall use Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with prior notice. If prior notice is not given, the Area EPS Operator shall, upon request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection. The Area EPS Operator shall notify the Interconnection Customer as soon as practicable if, based on Good Utility Practice, operation of the Distributed Energy Resource may cause disruption or deterioration of service to other customers served from the same electric system, or if operating the Distributed Energy Resource could cause damage to the Area EPS Operator’s Distribution System or Affected Systems. Supporting documentation used to reach the decision to disconnect shall be provided to the Interconnection Customer upon request. If, after notice, the Interconnection Customer fails to remedy the adverse operating effect within a reasonable time, the Area EPS Operator may disconnect the Distributed Energy Resource. The Area EPS Operator shall provide the Interconnection Customer with five Business Day notice of such disconnection, unless the provisions of article 3.4.1 apply.

3.4.3 The Public Utility shall use reasonable efforts to provide the Interconnection CustomerCustomer with prior notice of forced outages of the Distribution System. If prior notice is not given, the Public Utility shall, upon request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.
3.4.4 For disruption or deterioration of service, where the Public Utility determines that operation of the Community Solar Project will likely cause disruption or deterioration of service to other customers served from the same electric system, or if operating the Community Solar Project could cause damage to the Public Utility’s Distribution System, the Public Utility may disconnect the Community Solar Project. The Public Utility will provide the Interconnection Customer upon request all supporting documentation used to reach the decision to disconnect. The Public Utility may disconnect the Community Solar Project if, after receipt of the notice, the Interconnection Customer fails to remedy the adverse operating effect within a reasonable time which shall be at least five Business Days from the date the Interconnection Customer receives the Public Utility’s written notice supporting the decision to disconnect, unless emergency conditions exist, in which case the provisions of 3.4.1 of the agreement apply.

3.4.3 During any forced outage, the EDC may suspend interconnection service to effect immediate repairs on the EDC’s Electric Distribution System. The EDC shall use reasonable efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with prior notice. If prior notice is not given, the EDC shall, upon written request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.
3.4.4 The EDC shall provide the Interconnection Customer with a written notice of its intention to disconnect the Small Generator Facility if, based on the operating procedures specified in Attachment 4, the EDC determines that operation of the Small Generator Facility will likely cause disruption or deterioration of service to other customers served from the same electric system, or if operating the Small Generator Facility could cause damage to the EDC’s Electric Distribution System. Supporting documentation used to reach the decision to disconnect shall be provided to the Interconnection Customer upon written request. The EDC may disconnect the Small Generator Facility if, after receipt of the notice, the Interconnection Customer fails to remedy the adverse operating effect within a reasonable time unless Emergency Conditions exist in which case the provisions of 3.4.1 apply.
3.4.5 The Interconnection Customer must receive written authorization from the EDC prior to making any change to the Small Generator Facility, other than a Minor Equipment Modification, that could cause an Adverse System Impact. If the Interconnection Customer makes such modification without the EDC’s prior written authorization, the EDC shall have the right to temporarily disconnect the Small Generator Facility until such time as the EDC reasonably concludes the modification poses no threat to the safety or reliability of its Electric Distribution System.
3.4.6 The Parties shall cooperate with each other to restore the Small Generator Facility, Interconnection Facilities, and EDC’s Electric Distribution System to their normal operating state as soon as reasonably practicable following any disconnection pursuant to this section; provided, however, if such disconnection is done pursuant to Section 3.4.5 due to the Interconnection Customer’s failure to obtain prior written authorization from the EDC for Minor Equipment Modifications, the EDC shall reconnect the Interconnection Customer only after determining the modifications do not impact the safety or reliability of its Electric Distribution System.

The EDC shall provide the Interconnection Customer with five business days notice prior to such interruption. The EDC shall use reasonable efforts to coordinate such reduction interruption.
3.4.3 Forced outages of the T&D System, the Public Utility shall use reasonable efforts to provide the Applicant with prior notice of forced outages to effect immediate repairs to the T&D System. If prior notice is not given, the Public Utility shall, upon request, provide the Applicant written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.
3.4.4 For disruption or temporary disconnection with deterioration of service, where the Interconnection CustomerPublic Utility determines that operation of the Small Generator Facility will likely cause disruption or deterioration of service to other customers served from the same electric system, or if operating the Small Generator Facility could cause damage to the Public Utility’s T&D System, the Public Utility may disconnect the Small Generator Facility. The Public Utility will provide the Applicant upon request all supporting documentation used to reach the decision to disconnect. The Public Utility may disconnect the Small Generator Facility if, after receipt of the notice, the Applicant fails to remedy the adverse operating effect within a reasonable time which shall be at least five Business Days from the date the Applicant receives the Public Utility’s written notice supporting the decision to disconnect, unless emergency conditions exist, in which case the provisions of 3.4.1 of the agreement apply.
3.4.5 If the Applicant makes any change other than Minor Equipment Modifications without prior written authorization of the Public Utility, the Public Utility will have the right to temporarily disconnect the Small Generator Facility.

The EDC Cooperative shall use reasonable efforts to coordinate such the reduction or temporary disconnection with the Interconnection Customerinterconnection member-owner; however, the interconnection member-owner is responsible for out-of-pocket costs incurred by the Cooperative for deferring or rescheduling maintenance, construction, or repair at the interconnection member-owner’s request.
