Testing of Interconnection Facilities Sample Clauses

The "Testing of Interconnection Facilities" clause establishes the requirements and procedures for verifying that facilities connecting two systems or networks function correctly and safely before they are put into regular operation. Typically, this clause outlines the types of tests to be performed, the responsibilities of each party in conducting or witnessing the tests, and the standards or criteria that must be met for successful completion. By setting clear expectations for testing, this clause ensures that any technical or safety issues are identified and resolved early, thereby minimizing operational risks and ensuring reliable interconnection.

All such testing on the Company’s side of the Interconnection Point and, prior to the Commercial Operations Date, on the JPS side of the Interconnection Point shall be at the sole cost of the Company; all such testing after the Commercial Operations Date on the JPS side of the Interconnection Point shall be at the sole cost of JPS:  High potential tests;  Earthing tests  Phase rotation  Functional testing of all interconnections, controls and current  transformer wiring;  Voltage transformer ratio and polarity tests; and  Current transformer magnetization curve checks. 3.1 Submission of Pre-Commissioning Documents All relevant diagrams, equipment test reports, certificates for the Interconnection Facilities and transmission line and any other supportive documents shall be submitted to JPS prior to Commissioning. All interconnection as-built drawings are to be provided by the Company within 3 months.
