The Technical Committee clause establishes a designated group responsible for overseeing technical aspects of a project or agreement. Typically, this committee is composed of representatives from the involved parties and is tasked with making decisions on technical standards, resolving technical disputes, and monitoring progress on deliverables. The Technical Committee. The Steering Committee may decide that a Technical Committee is required and appoint the members of the Technical Committee, upon proposals by the Members of the Consortium.
The Technical Committee. The Technical Committee consists of one member per Participant. Each Participant is allotted one vote for each vessel in the Pool. Technical Committee meetings will be held at a minimum of two (2) times a year. The Technical Committee is empowered to:
The Technical Committee. 1. The Centre shall have a Technical Committee of not less than nine and not more than eleven members. The Technical Committee shall include the members listed in sub-paragraphs (a) to (1) below, and may also include those listed in sub-paragraphs (g) and (h) below if the Governing Council so decide:
(a) A representative of a State selected by the Governing Council, which has contributed financially to the activities of the Centre and is not a Member of the Centre;
(b) The heads of four national IRD centres designated in accordance with arti cle 111.2 and selected by the Governing Council, or the representatives of such heads;
(c) The head of the national IRD centre of the host State, or his representa tive;
(d) The Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), or his representative;
(e) The Director of the Centre;
(1) A person chosen by the Chairman of the Inter-Agency Committee on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific;
The Technical Committee. 1. The Centre shall have a Technical Committee. The Technical Committee shall include the members listed in subparagraphs (a) to (e) below, and may also include those listed in subparagraphs (f) and (g) below if the Governing Council so decides:
(a) a representative of a State, selected by the Governing Council, which has contributed financially to the activities of the Centre and is not a Member of the Centre;
(b) the heads of four national IRD centres designated in accordance with Article III.2 or the representatives of such heads;
(c) the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), or his representative;
(d) the Director of the Centre;
(e) a person chosen by the Chairman of the InterAgency Committee on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific;
(f) a representative of an agency or organization, selected by the Governing Council, which has contributed financially to the activities of the Centre;
(g) an expert of outstanding professional eminence in integrated rural development, appointed by the Director of the Centre in consultation with the Executive Committee.
2. The Technical Committee shall hold a regular session once a year. Special sessions may be convened by the Director of the Centre.
3. For the purposes of paragraph 1(a) and (f) a different State and a different agency or organization, may be selected for each year of the biennium following a regular session of the Governing Council. The expert referred to in paragraph 1(g) shall be appointed or reappointed every two years.
4. The Technical Committee shall, at each session, elect a Chairman from among its members.
5. The travel and subsistence expenses of the members, when attending sessions of the Technical Committee, shall be borne by the Centre.
6. The Technical Committee shall give advice on:
(a) the technical aspects and the funding of the activities and programmes of the Centre;
(b) the interrelation and coordination of the activities and programmes carried out by the Centre or under its auspices; and
(c) any other technical question referred to it by the Governing Council, the Executive Committee or the Director of the Centre.
7. A report on the deliberations and conclusions of the Technical Committee, which shall be prepared by its Chairman, shall be transmitted, through the Director of the Centre, to the Executive Committee and to the Governing Council.
The Technical Committee. The Technical Committee shall be the body responsible for advising the Council on technical issues within its terms of reference (as determined by the Council). It shall consist of ten persons selected by the Council and shall have a term of office of 3 years. In selecting the members of the Technical Committee due consideration shall be given to:
The Technical Committee. 1. shall open and maintain an individual record of (i) the Initial Contributions and other Contributions of the Trustors-Beneficiaries; and (ii) of the distributions of the Trust Account and of the Securities Account carried out by the Trustee for the Trustors-Beneficiaries per instructions from the Technical Committee;
The Technical Committee. 1. The Technical Committee shall comprise delegations from each· Member State consisting of no more than three (3) members and such number of advisors as each Member State may determine.
2. The Technical Committee shall meet once annually in ordinary session and may meet in extraordinary session at the request of the Secretariat or at least two thirds of the Member States.
3. The Technical Committee shall at its annual ordinary session elect a Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson from among its members on the basis of rotation and the persons so elected shall function in such capacities until the annual .ordinary session of the following year. Unless the Technical Committee expressly decides otherwise or unless prevented by unavoidable circumstances, the Vice-Chairpersbti shall be elected as a Chairperson at the annual ordinary session of the year following his or her election as Vice-Chairperson.
4. Decisions of the Technical Committee shall be by consensus.
5. The quorum for meetings of the Technical Committee shall be at least two thirds of the Member States.
The Technical Committee. (a) The Technical Committee will consist of one (1) representative of the following:
(i) the Commission;
(ii) each Donor who has made one or more Contributions totalling €5,000,000 or in excess thereof;
(iii) each Donor Group; and
(iv) RHP Secretariat, and it will be chaired by the RHP Secretariat (the “Chair of the Technical Committee”).
(b) The Technical Committee will:
(i) prepare the Grant Request Assessment Criteria;
(ii) screen and assess Grant Requests;
(iii) submit Grant Requests for approval to the Assembly of Donors; and
(iv) discuss implementation related issues based on information provided by RHP Secretariat, including the progress of the Programme.
(c) Except for the RHP Secretariat, each member’s representative to the Technical Committee will be at the service of such member without remuneration from the RHP/RHP Fund. Each representative may be accompanied by advisory staff also without remuneration from the RHP/RHP Fund. Participants to the Technical Committee will cover their own costs of participation. An individual may at the same time serve as representative of more than one member in the Technical Committee if such members will have so agreed and notified the RHP Secretariat, in writing and in advance of the meeting.
The Technical Committee. 1. will open and keep an itemized record of (i) the Initial Contributions from the Trust Founders; and (ii) the distributions from the Trust Account and the Securities Account that the Trustee makes to the First Place Trust Founders-Beneficiaries and the Creditor Trust Beneficiary following instructions from the Technical Committee.
2. will keep the List of Beneficiaries and a list of the Trust Founders and the Creditor Trust Beneficiary which establishes (i) the participation of each of the Trust Founders and the Creditor Trust Beneficiary in the Trust Assets, including but not limited to the Receiving Rights, on the understanding that the Creditor Trust Beneficiary's share will always be equal to the sum of the Initial Contributions from those Second Place Trust Founders- Beneficiaries who have not been the object of a Conversion; (ii) the Fund Assets corresponding to the Initial Contributions from each of the Trust Founders that the Trustee disposes of following instructions from the Technical Committee, in order to pay the Premium and the Consideration; (iii) the number of Acquired OPCs that belong to each of the First Place Trust Founders-Beneficiaries, if applicable; (iv) the number of Acquired OPCs that belong to each of the First Place Trust Founders-Beneficiaries, if applicable, and to the Creditor Trust Beneficiary, if applicable; and (v) the Second Place Trust Founders-Beneficiaries that are converted into First Place Trust Founders-Beneficiaries pursuant to the stipulations of Clause Eleven hereof.
3. will help the Trustee prepare, update and confirm the lists and other documents described in sub-clauses (b), (d), and (e) of Clause Four hereof.
4. will keep a file that contains the originals of all the meeting minutes and the unanimous decisions of the Technical Committee.
5. if applicable, will instruct the Trustee in writing to deliver the Relevant Optional Certificates of Purchase to the First Place Trust Founders-Beneficiaries or to sell those Certificates (and deliver the proceeds from the sale to them) in the manner indicated by the Technical Committee, utilizing for that purpose the instruction form attached hereto as Appendix H (each of these instructions called Disposal Instructions). In any case, the form must be signed by the Chairman of the Technical Committee or whoever is designated as his special delegate for such purposes by the Technical Committee.
