Tie Scores Clause Samples

The Tie Scores clause establishes the procedure to follow when two or more parties achieve the same score in a competitive context, such as a contest, evaluation, or bidding process. Typically, this clause outlines the specific method for breaking the tie, which may include additional rounds of competition, predetermined tiebreaker criteria, or even splitting a prize or opportunity among the tied parties. Its core practical function is to ensure fairness and transparency by providing a clear and agreed-upon method for resolving situations where participants are otherwise indistinguishable based on their scores.
