Traffic Assignment Clause Samples

The Traffic Assignment clause defines how responsibility for directing and managing traffic, such as vehicles or data, is allocated between parties in an agreement. Typically, it outlines which party is authorized to assign, reroute, or control the flow of traffic within a specified area or system, and may set conditions or limitations on such assignments. This clause ensures clarity over operational control and helps prevent disputes by clearly designating who has authority over traffic management.
Traffic Assignment. Each Party will take all reasonable actions and provide all reasonable assistance to the other Party (including the execution, acknowledgment, delivery and assistance in preparation of documents) as may be requested by the other Party to ensure that (a) Microsoft obtains credit for Queries from the Sources and (b) Conduit receives credit [***]. Such reasonable actions may include, by way of example and without limitation, (x) Microsoft hosting the Results Pages at ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇; (y) redirecting Queries from the Source to ▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇ prior to transmission to Microsoft and (z) Conduit hosting a Web page once per month per End User.
Traffic Assignment. The state of the practice for highway assignment currently is static equilibrium assignment (Ortúzar and Willumsen, 2011). Equilibrium assignment is an iterative procedure where vehicle trips are loaded to different paths from origin to destination. During each iteration, the trips for each origin-destination TAZ pair are assigned to the shortest path connecting the origin and destination along the network. At the end of each iteration, the travel time on the links making up the path is recalculated based on the number of loaded vehicles (i.e., congestion) on the links. The iterative process ends when travel times along all possible paths connecting the origin and destination become equal. This state is called user equilibrium in that no driver could improve travel time by changing path. User equilibrium assignment procedures are widely available in travel demand modeling software packages. It is generally recommended practice for all areas for highway assignment. In smaller areas, other methods such as all-or-nothing or incremental capacity constraint may be used (VDOT, 2014). 28 states were identified as using the user equilibrium for traffic assignment method. Alabama, Nebraska, and North Dakota applied the all-or-nothing method and only Maine adopts incremental capacity constraint method (NASEM, 2017).
Traffic Assignment. During the Term, Publisher authorizes Agency to aggregate the Property’s traffic under Agency’s name or Sub-Network, with any third party traffic and audience measurement and/or reporting services (e.g., comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen Net Ratings @Plan) (each a “Re porting Se rvice”). By doing so, Publisher does not forfeit its right to be independently tracked and reported by such services.
Traffic Assignment. Effective the first full pay period after adoption, an employee in the Police Officer classification regularly assigned to the Traffic Division (motorcycle) shall include a five percent (5%) compensation above the appropriate Police Officer salary step for the period of the assignment.
Traffic Assignment. Unit employees regularly assigned and serving as motorcycle officers shall receive assignment pay at the rate of fifty dollars ($50.00) per month. Such officers shall receive this assignment pay for each pay period during which they were able and available to perform such assignment for a minimum of five (5) scheduled shifts during the pay period. In lieu of overtime otherwise compensable under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), motor officers shall continue to receive one day off (10 hours) per month for the purposes of maintaining their motorcycles. The day off shall be earned following a minimum of ten worked shifts in a traffic assignment from the previous month and cannot be accrued.
Traffic Assignment. The traffic assignment stage is the last step of the four-step modeling process for passenger trips. The traffic assignment routine of FLSWM uses the multi-class user equilibrium technique. There are seven trip classes in the assignment module, including: 1. Low Value of Time (VOT) toll users in autos 2. Medium VOT toll users in autos 3. High VOT toll users in autos 4. SDEI and LDB (assumed to be medium VOT) 5. Truck and Taxi (also assumed to be medium VOT) 6. Medium Trucks (single unit, six-tire, two-axle intermediate size trucks weighted between 15,000 and 30,000 lb.) 7. Heavy Trucks (large single unit and articulated trucks with more than 6-tires and more than 2-axles) The numbers of vehicles in classes from 1 to 5 are predicted by the passenger model of FLSWM. The numbers of medium and heavy truck classes are predicted by FreightSIM. The truck classes are assumed to be in the medium VOT category..

Related to Traffic Assignment

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • SUBCONTRACTS - ASSIGNMENT Contractor shall not subcontract or assign this Agreement, or any part thereof, or interest therein, directly or indirectly, voluntarily or involuntarily, to any person without obtaining the prior written consent by County. Contractor remains legally responsible for the performance of all contract terms including work performed by third parties under subcontracts. Any subcontracting will be subject to all applicable provisions of this Agreement. Contractor shall be held responsible by County for the performance of any subcontractor whether approved by County or not. Contractor hereby assigns to the County all rights, title, and interest in and to all causes of action it may have under Section 4 of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Act (15 U.S.C. • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.
