e) Refrain from participating in any competition that is not permitted under the policies of the SDSC, unless approval has been granted by the SDSC.
f) Consult and obtain prior consent from the SDSC on any deviation from the agreed training and competition programme or support service arrangements.

If you have engaged the services of a Personal Coach, you are responsible to ensure that your Personal Coach complies with the obligations undertaken in this Agreement and work with the SDSC to fulfil both your performance plan and your interests as a whole.

Training and Competition. I. Present a schedule of mandatory training programs and competitions tailored to the individual needs of the Athlete to progress towards achieving agreed upon objectives and goals of the Athlete and National Team (the “Agreed Upon Training Plan”). The plan will be developed in consultation with the Athlete and the Athlete’s coaches;
II. Manage the ‘Agreed Upon Training Plan” in conjunction with the athlete and the athlete’s coach(es); and,
III. Provide the Athlete with agreed upon updates to training plans, monitoring, testing schedules and results, athlete evaluation feedback, anticipated financial costs and assessments, proposed changes to competition, and training plans as soon as the circumstances permit.

A minimum monthly attendance of 80% is required to demonstrate your commitment to your goals, with the remaining 20% as a provision for urgent and excusable matters, such as examinations or recovery from illnesses. If your attendance is below 80% for 3 consecutive months without excusable justifications, you will be withdrawn from the team.
c) Participate in regular assessments arranged by your coach and/or the SDSC. Reflect and provide inputs for your training plans, e.g. training adjustments, competitor and competition analysis.
d) Participate in competitions, training camps, meetings and events, as directed by the SDSC, unless certified medically unfit. Notify, and if necessary, seek approval from the SDSC for non- attendance.

g) Create an athlete profile in SportSync and keep your records updated. You are responsible for the completeness of your profile for qualification and application for SportSG support schemes.
h) Create an athlete profile in SDSC LIFE and keep your profile updated. You are responsible for the completeness of your profile for selection by SDSC to games and competitions, and to use the app to record your attendance and qualify for any training support.

Training and Competition. 3.1 The general training and competition plan will be produced by the HP Consultant. The plan will be further developed and adjusted in consultation with the HP Training Centres coaches.
3.2 The Athlete and the Athlete’s coaches will adjust the plan for each individual athlete’s specific needs, respecting the mandatory aspects of the plan, which may include training at the HP Training Centres, with flexibility for the optional parts of the plan.
3.3 The HP Consultant will oversee the implementation of the plan in concert with the HP Training coaches and athlete’s coaches.
3.4 TTCAN will provide the Athlete with agreed upon updates to training plans, monitoring, evaluations and proposed changes to competition and training plans.
3.5 The Athlete will consult with the HP Consultant, the HP Training Centres coach and their coaches with regard to their own specific parts of the plan, in addition to the mandatory component. Such specific plans will be presented to the HP Consultant for approval.
3.6 The Athlete will not unreasonably withhold the Athlete’s approval of proposals by TTCAN to make changes to the specific training and competition plan.
3.7 The Athlete will demonstrate commitment to the agreed upon Plan and provide to TCAN a progress report when requested by the TTCAN.
3.8 The Athlete will avoid participating in any competitions where federal government sport policy has determined that such participation is not permitted as communicated by TTCAN.
3.9 If an Athlete is asked by TTCAN to relocate to a HP Training Centre (Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver) and the Athlete accepts, TTCAN will contribute towards the relocation costs, and Sport Canada will provide up to 50% funding up to a maximum of $500 towards the relocation costs.
3.10 If the Athlete has AAP status and fails to submit the regular progress reports when requested, TTCAN may, per Sport Canada policy, make a recommendation to Sport Canada to have the Athlete’s AAP status withdrawn with reasons and appropriate due process.
Training and Competition. Full effort is expected during practices and competitions. Track and Field is a varsity and junior varsity competitive sport. Coaches must be able to coach and athletes must be able to train without distractions and disrespect. If your athlete is disruptive or disrespectful they will be sent home. It is the parents responsibility to pick them up in a timely manner or have them walk home. Sent home twice and they will be suspended, sent home a third time and they will no longer be on the team.
