UNION REPRESENTATIVES AND ACCESS. 24.1 A written list of the Union Business Representatives assigned to service this Agreement shall be furnished to the Company immediately after their designation and the Union shall notify the Company of any changes in the list which occur from time to time. 24.2 Duly authorized Business Representatives of the Union shall be permitted at reasonable times to enter the Plants covered by this Agreement for the purpose of transacting Union business and observing conditions under which employees are employed. 24.3 The Business Representative must first secure approval from the proper Company representative upon entering a facility, and the Business Representative may not unduly interfere with employees’ work at any time. 24.4 Company may make reasonable designation of controlled-access areas. 24.5 Company shall designate a portion of an existing bulletin board at each site to be used by the Union for posting of official notices of meetings and similar matters relating to official Union business. The Union shall not post any material that involves labor disputes, internal Union debates on elections, or any material that is derogatory to any Company employee, the Company, or its affiliates, customers or suppliers.
UNION REPRESENTATIVES AND ACCESS. Section 1 Union representatives shall be admitted to University premises to transact legitimate Union business. Access shall take place at reasonable times provided such visits are pre-arranged with the Director of Employee and Labor Relations or designee. Such visits shall not interfere with the work duties of any employee, and shall not take place in an employee’s work area. Such visits shall not be for the purpose of organizing nor dues collection. For purposes of this Article only, employees' rest periods and meal periods are considered non-work time. Section 2 The above limitations shall apply during the employee’s regular working hours only. Section 3 The University may designate a University representative to accompany the Union representative on all visits.

UNION REPRESENTATIVES AND ACCESS. Authorized representatives of the Union shall be allowed access to the remote locations of the Employer to inspect or investigate opera- tions of the Employer with respect to compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Union may appoint a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ for any event; however, the Company will be informed of such ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ appointment. As is otherwise required by the National Labor Relations Act, each Employee has the right to form, join, or assist the Union without fear of penalty or reprisal and each Employee shall be protected in the exercise of that right. Shop Stewards appointed by the Union shall have the right to act for the Union in the capacity of a representative, and the right in that capacity, to present the views of the Union to the Employer without fear of discrimination and/or retaliation.

  • UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS 30.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the Co-operative for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. 30.02 The interview of an employee by a Union Representative shall be permitted, after notifying the General Manager or their designated representative, and shall be: (a) carried on in a place within the Co-operative's premises designated by management; (b) held whenever possible during the lunch period; however, if this is not practical; (c) held during the regular working hours; time taken for such interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on Co-operative time unless with the approval of management; (d) held at such times as will not interfere with service to the public.

  • Union Representative Visits The Union shall inform the Employer in advance whenever the designated representatives of the Union intend to visit the Employer’s premises for the purpose of conducting Union business. Such visits shall not interfere with the normal operations of the worksite. Reasonable accommodation will be made to allow the Presidents of the Unions to have access to union members to conduct union business.

  • Union Representatives Upon mutual agreement of the parties, the number may be altered from time to time. Where a Union Representative commences on an extended leave of absence, the Union will endeavour to find a temporary replacement for the Union Representative from within the Home.

  • Notice of Union Representative Visits The Union shall inform the Company when any representative of the Union intends to visit the worksite for the purpose of conducting Union business. Such visits will not disrupt employees working without the supervisor/manager’s permission.
