Voting Process. 13.5.9.1 Voting commences immediately following closing statements and is conducted by secret ballot. When necessary to accommodate extended shifts, the period of balloting may be extended by the meeting.
13.5.9.2 Valid ballots shall be marked with the name of the candidate chosen or the word "no" if no candidates are deemed satisfactory; when there is only one candidate, ballots shall be marked either "yes" or "no".
13.5.9.3 Any spoiled or blank ballots shall not be considered valid.
13.5.9.4 Only those eligible as per 13.5.5 above may vote. There is no proxy voting.
13.5.9.5 A candidate named on more than 50% of the valid votes cast on a ballot; or, in the case of a single candidate, with more than 50% of the valid ballots marked "yes" shall be considered elected and the meeting is adjourned. (See Article 13.5.10)
13.5.9.6 When there are more than 2 candidates and no candidate receives more than 50% of the valid votes cast then the candidate with the least votes is eliminated and another ballot is held.
13.5.9.7 When there are 4 or more candidates and no candidate receives more than 50% of the valid votes cast and a tie occurs between those with the least votes then the tied candidates are eliminated and another ballot is held.
13.5.9.8 When there are 3 candidates and no candidate receives more than 50% of the valid votes cast and a tie occurs between those with the least votes then another ballot is held with all 3 candidates remaining on the ballot.
13.5.9.9 When there are 2 candidates and both candidates receive the same number of valid votes then another ballot is held; if they remain tied, the meeting shall be adjourned and reconvened at a convenient time as per Article 13.5.8
Voting Process. The Chair shall so advise the Association and the appropriate ▇▇▇▇ or Director.
13.5.9.10 When a single candidate does not receive more than 50% of the valid votes cast, the voting process shall be considered complete and the meeting is adjourned. (See Article 13.5.10)
13.5.10 The Chair shall only advise the department or area whether the voting process is complete or not.
13.5.11 Immediately following the meeting, the Chair shall validate the ballot count with a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ before destroying the ballots.
13.5.12 The Chair shall only advise the appropriate ▇▇▇▇ or Director of the name of the successful candidate or if no candidate was successful.
Voting Process. 5.1 The day or days for the vote on the ratification of this Agreement shall be determined by the Council of the Selkirk First Nation and it shall advise the Ratification Committee in writing of the day or days determined at least 60 days before the first day of the vote.
5.2 The vote shall be held at the offices of the Selkirk First Nation in Pelly Crossing, and such other places as the Ratification Committee considers necessary.
5.3 The Ratification Committee shall determine the means by which votes shall be cast, which may include mail-in ballots. The Ratification Committee shall make reasonable efforts to provide all eligible voters with a reasonable opportunity to vote. The Ratification Committee may conduct an advance vote on the day 14 days before the first day of the vote determined pursuant to 5.1.
5.4 The vote, and any advance vote, shall each be held on the same day or days in all polling locations.
5.5 The day or days of the vote, including the day of an advance vote, and the polling locations shall be posted in each community in which a ballot may be cast at least 14 days before the day of the advance vote, or if no advance vote, at least 21 days before the first day of the vote.
5.6 The vote shall be by secret ballot.
5.7 The appearance, format, and contents of the ballot shall be approved by the parties to this Agreement.
5.8 The Ratification Committee shall receive and tabulate all ballots.
Voting Process. (i) Each serving Board Member or Alternate Board Member (if applicable) shall have one (1) vote; provided however, if the same person is appointed by multiple CAB Districts to serve as Board Member or Alternate Board Member, that person shall only have one (1) vote as a Board Member.
(ii) Each serving Board Member shall vote according to the policy established by the CAB District that the Board Member is representing.
(iii) Voting by proxy is prohibited.
(iv) In the event a vacancy is not filled as described in herein, that Board Member’s vote, which was caused by such vacancy, shall be waived on any matter coming before the CAB Board and the related voting requirement, if any, shall be reduced, until such time as the vacancy is filled.
Voting Process. 5.1 The day or days for the vote on the ratification of this Agreement shall be determined by the Chief and Council of the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation and they shall advise the Ratification Committee in writing of the day or days determined at least 90 days before the first day of the vote.
5.2 The vote shall be held at the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation administration building near Carmacks, and at Whitehorse and such other places as the Ratification Committee considers necessary.
5.3 The Ratification Committee shall determine the means by which votes shall be cast, which may include mail-in ballots. Voting Process. 5.1 Western will work to cooperatively develop a Prepayment Funding Plan that receives broad-based customer support.
5.2 Each Participant will have one vote. Voting will be in the form of voice or show of hands during the meeting, email to person designated by Western; or by proxy on a form to be determined by Western.
5.3 Participant approval for each construction project in the Prepayment Funding Plan requires an affirmative vote of greater than fifty (50) percent of those Participants that vote by the close of the meeting.
5.4 Multi-year projects in the Prepayment Funding Plan will be approved for the total funding of the project and are not subject to re-voting in subsequent years except for additional funding when required in accordance with Section 8.
5.5 If Western needs to pursue a construction project that Participants do not approve to fund with Prepayments, Western shall find other sources to fund the project other than using Prepayments or move the project to a later fiscal year for reconsideration.
5.6 The final approved Prepayment Funding Plan will be formally recorded and mailed via a letter to each Eligible Customer.
Voting Process. The date or dates for the vote on the ratification of this Agreement shall be determined by the Chief and Council.

Voting will be in the form of voice or show of hands during the meeting, or by email to the person designated by WAPA to receive such votes, or by proxy on a form to be determined by WAPA. Only those votes received prior to or during the meeting will be counted.
5.2 Participant approval for the portion of each Construction Project or design of Construction Projects to be funded by Prepayments requires an affirmative vote of greater than fifty (50) percent of those Participants that vote.
5.3 Approved Projects are not subject to re-voting in subsequent years except for consideration of additional Prepayment funding when required in accordance with Section 9, herein.
5.4 If WAPA chooses to pursue a Construction Project that Participants do not approve to fund with Prepayments, WAPA shall find other sources to fund the Construction Project other than using Prepayments or may move the Construction Project to a later FY for reconsideration.
Voting Process. 4.1 Only persons whose names appear on the Official Voters List shall be eligible to vote.
4.2 The voting process for ratification of this Agreement shall be the same as that determined for ratification of the Final Agreement pursuant to 5.0 of Schedule A to Chapter 2 of the Final Agreement.
4.3 The vote on the ratification of this Agreement and the vote on the ratification of the Final Agreement shall be combined in a single ratification process which shall consist of a single vote for the purpose of approving or rejecting both the Final Agreement and this Agreement, including the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Indian Band ceasing to exist and the vesting of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Indian Band assets and liabilities in the Tr'▇▇▇▇▇ Hwëch'in.
