WORK WEEK AND OVERTIME PAY. A. Overtime at the rate of one and one-half (1.5x) times the regular hourly rate of pay will be paid for all hours worked over forty (40) hours during the work week. Overtime worked on Saturdays shall be paid at one and one-half (1.5x) times the regular hourly rate and overtime worked on Sundays or Holidays shall be paid at two (2x) times the regular hourly rate. The work week is defined as Saturday through Friday. Absences for personal leave days, deduct days, or vacation days are excluded from the computation of days or hours worked. 1. The hourly rate to be paid for hours worked on Saturdays shall be one and one-half times (1.5x) the regular hourly rate of pay for the employee and Sundays and Holidays shall be two times (2x) the regular hourly rate of pay for the employee unless the employee had a vacation day, deduct day, or personal leave day during said 40-hour work week. B. When lunchroom personnel are employed to help with banquets, they shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times (1.5x) the regular hourly rate Monday - Saturday. When work is performed on a Sunday or a holiday, the rate of two (2x) times the regular hourly rate shall be paid for the hours worked. C. Custodial or maintenance/custodial overtime shall be offered to custodians qualified to do the overtime work and shall be scheduled on a rotation seniority list basis. The event list will be posted by Monday of each week. If an event is not covered by employee sign up, the overtime will be assigned in rotational order of reverse seniority from a separate list. If available, a sub may be contacted before requiring an employee to work overtime. D. When custodians and/or cooks are needed to work at an event sponsored by a non-school group, they are to be paid from the time they begin work for the event until they are able to leave, not from the time the event starts and ends. E. When custodians are needed to work on a Sunday or Holiday, they are to be paid two times (2x) their regular hourly rate for the hours worked. F. Employees substituting in the same department will receive their regular rate of pay for hours worked. G. All employees will receive regular hourly rate of pay for all time spent in attendance at any mandatory meeting. H. All classified employees will receive a minimum of two (2) hours pay at their regular hourly rate when they are requested, and report to work, by their immediate supervisor at other than their normal working hours when responding to an alarm call, building check, or etc. I. When a custodian is requested to work an event outside of their scheduled work time. The employee shall be paid a minimum of 1 hour at his/her regular hourly rate to open and prepare the building for occupancy and paid a minimum of 1 hour at his/her regular hourly rate to close up and secure the building after conclusion of the event.

Section 2(b) Compensatory time sheets must be completed and turned in to the immediate Supervisor on a Sunday the last Friday of each month. Section 3 Overtime, premium pay assignments, or a holiday, the rate of two (2x) times the regular hourly rate extra duty assignments shall be paid distributed fairly and as nearly equal as is reasonable, with seniority being the criteria, for the hours worked. C. Custodial purpose of first opportunity of assignment for overtime, premium pay assignments or maintenance/custodial overtime extra duty assignments. Employees who are offered overtime, and refuse for any reason, shall be offered to custodians qualified to do charged as if they had had worked the overtime work and shall be scheduled on a rotation seniority list basis. H. All classified the first pay of July each year. The Administration shall make the decision (in all buildings) as to the number of employees will receive a minimum required to and the number of two (2) hours pay at their regular hourly rate when they are requested, and report to work, by their immediate supervisor at other than their normal working hours when responding to an alarm call, building check, or etc. I. Section 5 Insofar as practical, employees shall be paid a minimum of 1 hour at his/her regular hourly rate to open and prepare the building given twenty four (24) hours advance notice for occupancy and paid a minimum of 1 hour at his/her regular hourly rate to close up and secure the building after conclusion of the eventall overtime work.
